Yes, very good move by Plant. Ward has been watching Canelo for a long time and sees things that Plant can use in this fight.

I don't see what Ward could bring to Plants camp that would be beneficial. Plant does not come close to Wards style. As noted in previous posts perhaps it is to teach Plant how to head butt, low blow, use elbows when in close quarters?

Good move on Canelo’s behalf! Money hungry Ward will make sure Clen knows all about his opponent before the fight

 

Ward is a smart man and may have great insight, but don’t think that translates into success for Plant who has a different style and physical assets. I think Plant was better off sticking to his original team on this one.

Might set up a Ward vs Canelo fight though, which I would absolutely look forward to!

 

He can train Plant all he wants, but he won't be able to fight for him.
