I disagree. I see it a different way. Hunter was indeed landing on Povetkin in the first round, "lighting him up like a Christmas tree", and still wasn't really close to putting him down. It was Povetkin who scored the knockdown and it was not even ruled as a knockdown. Referees seem to think that they have discretion and can make a judgement on whether or not such occurrences are to be considered a knockdown. They don't, and with how the bout ended as a draw, handed Povetkin a bum deal. Ridiculous. Hunter was literally starting to gas from about round 5 onward. It was Whyte who had Povetkin all over the place in the first bout before he got complacent and got cleaned out. The second bout was practically the same as how the first started, but with more intensity, and he got him out of there. Whyte is fantastic and all of this talk about sauce on this forum is amusing, as if your heroes are not sauced. Especially funny to hear hot sauce chat from clueless Joshua fans when he is one of the most blatant beneficiaries of the absolute finest hot sauce, and also hence why he has no stamina when in intense bouts, because he is nowhere near a 250lbs guy in reality, without his main marketing asset. I bet these clowns think that Traore, of Wolves, is all rice and beans.
One of the finest sights in boxing is Whyte spinning round after another lunging off balance punch, Adam Smith telling us its his bravery and heart, whilst the Matchroom FC crowd members are lapping it up thinking they are watching world class boxing. Then afterwards comes the ringside gaslighting program brought to you by Eddie Hearn about how Dillian is the most feared fighter ever, the most hard done to fighter through politics and that they will fight anyone ,anytime , anywhere as he is the can man. Repeat and rinse.
It will certainly be one of his copy and paste replies, maybe with a bit of added venom as he said clueless Joshua fans.
Disagree with HW dvison being poor. It's not up there with the late 90s Lewis era or the 60s and 70s. However it better than Klitschko era and debatably even better Tyson prime era late 80s. Whyte is world level fighter and has proven so.
I dont now how you can say its beter than the Wlad era when you have been bigging up the ghosts of Pulev and Povetkin all this time.
