Roidnelo smaller ???? The wussy outweighed GGG BOTH fight nights. Difference is GGG fights alone Clenelo has the NSAC, Vegas boxing officials etc to ensure he doesnt not lose any decision. Thats so blatant I'm sure its probably in the fight contract lol

Canelo went 24 rounds unfazed by Golovkins power. Golovkin has few, and truly none, such matches where taking punches is on that level. Of course he also fought Canelo but not a soil argued Canelo had more punching power than Golovkin going into the match. That is one of few things universally accepted.

Not to mention their remaining opponents. Canelos chin stood up to multiple ranked opponents at 168 and even old Kovalev at 175. Golovkins' experience above 160? Stevie Rolls at 164.

I think their chins are comparable. IMHO Golovkin's is better but it can't be by much. GGG landed some terrific shots on ginger and ginger was only fazed once for about a second. The haymaker Canelo landed on GGG would have slept 90% of middleweights and Golovkin kept chugging along. We're talking about A+ Hagler type chins here.

Let's be honest here, Canelo started his career several weight classes below where GGG has campaigned for his entire pro experience. Both have taken hellacious shots and both have absorbed them with professionalism. By comparison Canelo’s chin is better, even with the inclusion of Cotto’s brothers stunning moment, which btw almost hurts GGG’s power punching reputation.

I'll admit GGG has never given me ATG vibes however seeing the votes posted here only further solidifies why the ESB fan forum has been overrun by ill-informed, prideful self-indulged biased fanboys.

Canelo vs GGG is one if the easiest series to score, Canelo 1 and GGG 1, any other translation is is simply unacceptable.

When they fought, Canelo was 28 and Golovkin was 36.

Golovkin was old and he lost his endurance and recovery compared to his 30 year old version.

Canelo was physically in his peak years; power, endurance and regeneration level was at its best. (28 year old is an age probably where a human being is his top physical condition).

So, an over the hill GGG took best shots of a Canelo who was at his top physical condition and was not stunned.

Therefore we can conclude that Golovkin has a superior chin than Canelo.

GGG is better than Canelo at everything except combinations

    And they're about even defensively.

People wank over Canelo because hes a flashy boxer, his offense is flashy as is his defense

GGG is more subtle and more effective.

My opinion too. Golovkin becomes really impressive in slow motion. Stuff that looks like it tagging him is often being picked off or slipped. He does the absolute minimum to render an opponent's attacks ineffective.

Of course, best examples of cherry pick : Mosley ( 38 y.o, didn't had won 1 fight during last 3 fights ), Floyd Jr 36 y.o and bulked up WW boxer Khan for MW title defense, shot uncle Kovalev and some other beauties.
