Genuinely could not care either way. Having said that, I would watch BJS vs Eubank Jr. Just to see how potentially shot to pieces Billy Joe could be.
Just like Kell Brook against Spence, Eubank will bust him up and force him to throw in the towel. He’ll be better off just quitting and remembering the Lemieux performance.
I'd look back fondly at an excellent boxer and charismatic two-weight world champion. What a career he's had. How many boys or young men who walk into a boxing gym can say they have achieved what Saunders has? Perspective is everything. I'll always be a fan of this remarkable boxer, and his father also seems like a fantastic man.
agree with this 100% Out of all the bods who walk into a boxing gym, most never master the basics, most look good on the bag and forget there headguard on sparring nights,or look great on the bag whilst getting bossed about the ring You then have those who smash the granny out of the am scene and then amount to nothing when they turn over, and those that have bundles of talent but just cant knuckle down for whatever reason Bottom line is,for all those that walk into a gym and become something, there is a whole bunch of people that come to nothing, how many people do you know walk into the gym & years later box a man like canelo on the world scene Phenonenal achievement
Isn't it the point though thatbue hasn't made the most of his ability. Never conducted himself well outside the ring. Got done for the nasal spray before his 1st big fight in the US. Thought he showed up very well against Canello. For his big career highlight to be a win against Lemieux, I think he has wildly under achieved with his ability
How many people walk into a gym with an ounce of his ability though? You can win "only" a central area belt and wildly over achieve from you natural talent or win a world title and massively underachiege
