I'm impartial pal, either way both fighters are proper men who had a proper fight and deserve respect.

Yeah, it seems most did, as I noticed in the thread after posting, but...seemed pretty damn close to me. :nusenuse:

Both were rocked at certain points, but Eggington a bit worse IMO.

    116-112 Jkitou
    117-111 Eggington
    117-112

    SD for Egginton

The cards for Egginton are shameful. He didn't do better than 115-113.

It's one of those you can see why others would score for the other as it was so well matched. Still for me Eggington had the better punch selection and flurries. Also Jkitou had no answer and was hit with every rear uppercut of the fight.

You have to admit it was a close fight but it depends on what you were looking for. In terms of ring general ship and aggression Jkitou did very well but for clean punches and selection albeit with less power Eggington had it. Great fight and both fighters are proper men having a proper fight.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Eggington against Eubank sometime someday. Both are middleweights and highly ranked by the WBC - big British clash.

Also I won't be shocked if Charlo decided to pick Sammy Egg for his next defense. :chuck:

Tough luck for Bilel, he showed amazing heart and guts. :chuck:

Great fight. I only caught it from round 4 onward but even though Eggington fought a dumb fight by staying on the ropes so much and trading against the more compact bigger punching man he was outworking Jkito and whilst the later had good success and was landing with the heavier shots it was in spurts, whereas, Eggington not only matched his flurries of success with good shots of his own he was consistently outworking him in between all of that too, at least in the most of the rounds I saw.

Just had a look at Alexander Walter (who had the 117-111 card for Eggs) and he is inexperienced, not even 100 fights judged yet and never before outside Germany.
