How difficult is it to get a pro boxing license. In other words just compete professionally in general?
If you have a pulse you'll probably get licensed. Getting fights is the more difficult part. If you aren't good, you'll get plenty of fights and you'll be paid for them until your record is so bad that they can't use you. If you're good, you'll have a harder time finding fights unless you can pay for opponents. It's a business.
Boxing is in such a bad place right now that the industry is dying for great fighters, especially in the USA, if you are great and see star potential they’ll go begging to you.
If you had real interest, you already had googled up rules and regulations for this in your country. I think you just ask to keep forum going. Approx like this is reality unless you are good tickets seller or do have backup and protection cos someone thinks you might climb up enough to earn with you more later. Maybe you have entertaining style and are watchable and they might hope that you might be turned into tickets seller? Another kind of prospects are these former am stars and superstars ( proven in international level in notable tournaments = these basically aren't " he had fought no one ", they does have story and resume under belt with fights vs guys who does have legit and nice wiki pages and stuff like this ). There are managers and promoters who are willing to pay them signup bonuses. There ofc depends also from boxer's origin ( passport ) and manager/ promoter he does have and also from reality thing: what kind of plans they does have about you: stuff they are telling is nothing much worth. Worth does have only reality: their actions to get you proper fights and ensure your career will not get ruined. World is full with dreamers while majority ends with fighting for little money and regrets that they did not had picked another career. Okey, if you are not from US and wish to compete in US I might suggest to use some ppl in US but this is not for lads just from basement with dreams. U need stuff under belt, am exp too does counts and a lot. Ppl working with boxers aren't just boxing fans.
