To be fair to Hrgovic when the entire IBF top 15 ducks you for a final eliminator. It isnt your fault.

The IBF needs to be stronger when its ranked top 15 dont want to fight. His management and promoter needs to shout louder.

They need to remove people from the rankings if they don’t want to fight.

I guess that's why he's frustrating at times when he risks a potential world title shot (big payday) by making a fight difficult against an opponent he could make easy work of.

Would like to see him knock it on the head when he reaches 30, you don't really want to see fighters like him fighting much past that.

Two cracking cards last night one for free on C5 with Eggington as always giving his all, a true warrior. On the undercard the young Irish fella McKenna looks like he's a prepared to give one to take one type of brawler who doesn't take a backward step.
The second on Sky had a potentially future P4P fighter champ in Junto Nakatani who looked the real deal with speed, power, skill, accuracy and looks like he can take a shot, very impressive. Followed by Xander Zayas who looks like another potentially top class fighter in the making, reminds me of a young Fernando Vargas. Main Event - another war with Valdez and Conceicao.

    Congrats to C5 and Sky

Yeah the Nakatani fight on Sky was brilliant as was the whole card.

Watched the C5 card, had a few hours then watched the last 3 fights of the Top Rank card. My missus thinks I’m a proper sad fcker

5 fights altogether last night and each one delivered with the main event on C5 and both title fights on Sky had undefeated challengers. If both channels keep cards of that quality on their menu we might have a mini golden age on our hands.

Just catching up with this now, what a cracking fight to echo what everyone has said. Boxing really doesn't need to be pay per view, ITV and BBC could fork out for it if the will was there.

Avoided this thread as I had the fight recorded and didn’t know the result. **** me, what a fight! Could have done that in a phonebox. Full marks to both fighters. There were no losers as far as I’m concerned. What a show of pure willpower from both and yet another Eggington barnstormer. With all the bull**** going on in the sport, this is the perfect antidote. Absolutely brilliant advert for the sport, so glad it was on terrestrial TV.

I think its hard not to be a fan if Eggington in all honesty. A real throwback of a fighter who will fight anyone, anywhere, anytime.

Eggington and C5 deliver the goods again, not forgetting Bilel, a terrific opponent I hope we see
    over here, again.
I trust Sam will have a thorough check up, as he’ll never be paid enough for what he’s given us. The following night highlighted, this with Holyfield, and the long term effects he suffers from.
Ch5’s no nonsense presentation and a local straightforward M.C, was just what was needed after the diet of spin and uncompetitive offerings we’ve had lately.

He’s already unravelled a few times, but he is what he is - an all action but limited boxer. There’s not many of his kind on the circuit at the moment and for me we’ve been lucky to have him around for as long as we have, we’ve had 5 years (probably a little more if you caught much of his earlier stuff) of great fights.
