I found an excellent highlight clip of the great Fedor Emelianenko, and thought to share it.

This guy at his best was really like a goddamn combine harvester, mowing down the chaff in his way:

1.23 in... damn, young Fedor was such a tank.

In his prime, EVERYBODY across ALL combat sports Agreed that Fedor was the man, period.

You will never see a HW that good again.

Can you imagine if Fedor went to a real camp instead of that rinky dinky operation where he had elite/modern training equipment, sports recovery science, coaches, training partners, etc? The guy accomplished everything he did with his scumbag brother as his best training partner, although to be fair he was very good for a short period of time.

Prime Fedor was the most skilled and quickest HW we've seen to date imo.

He was really explosive. You wouldn't think he was that explosive just by looking at him. He looked like a sleepy bear.

Fedor was something else man. It was a real treat to watch his fights live, they were always extremely entertaining and high on drama. I remember when he came out of nowhere and smashed up Big Nog to win the Pride HW title...great memories.

Oh yeah ppl forget how great he was in his prime!

Dont ask me why, but from 2003 to 2010/11 or so i was a huge fan of BOxing, K-1 and MMA, but today only Boxing is still on top.

K-1 died out for reasons i will never understand.

MMA is today only the UFC...and the propaganda of Dana combined with Rogan and even Teddy Atlas on his podcast made me loosing interest.

And one of the reasons is the hype stuff what Dana, Rogan and Atlas do when it comes to Bones Jones, Anderson, Khabib and others.

Be it Dana, Rogan or Atlas, maybe its because they are all Americans, but they act like Fedor never existed. Some times Rogan speaks about him, but for Dana Fedor was a nobody, and of course only because he was never in the UFC, and Atlas - sure he knows a bit about MMA - just praising Anderson again as the p4p MMA GOAT after he KOed Tito.

I am European (German) and anyone with 2 brain cells on duty can see they dont judge fair! They look too much for the UFC and act like PRIDE back in the day was BS, etc.

    PRIDE > UFC

    All day!

The Japanese always respected Fedor and gave him the respect he deserved. The Americans - or lets say Danas and Co - never did.

I also stick to the view in his prime around 2003-2008 he was the best we ve ever seen TO THIS DAY in MMA!
Forget what Dana, Atlas etc. say.

    Here a video i like:

Its only some highlight from his fight with Hongman Choi. But i like the music which is "The Eagle Lands" from Jean-Claude Van Damme's "Kickboxer 3" from 1989, and in the end of the clip you see Fedor with Van Damme and former female Boxer Natascha Ragosina.

Fedor with "The Eagle Lands" fits in perfect.
