I am in disbelief that anyone could seriously blame AJ for those fights not going ahead. Deontay has basically admitted he ducked AJ, and Fury was the one with the main obstacle to the aj v fury fight. I know we cannot know all the details, but it appeared that it was Hearn that was making all the effort to try and get everything done, and it wasn't his fault Wilder had his rematch granted.

AJ's resume is definitely the most stacked out of any. Fury has AT LEAST as much to prove as AJ, considering he's yet to make a title defence, and has yet to prove himself consistent and not a one hit wonder every few years.

AJ, FURY AND WILDER could all be criticized equally, but I don't think Joshua deserves nearly the level of criticism as Wilder, and not more than Fury.

I don't think it's right to say AJ is fading, considering how quick the tickets sold out, and also considering how covid has impacted everything. We need to give things time to ramp back up again.

Still is a blot on his record for me.

It's not like Wilder had to go through murders row opponents to become champion. Having Malik Scott dive in the first round against him, beat a 25-16-4 Jason Gavern to earn the title shot and then beating Stiverne of all people for the title.

I have a strong feeling that Usyk tires Joshua out and stops him late. I also saw a completely different Chisora fight to a lot of people though, I though Usyk won nearly every round and nearly KO’d him. You’d think it was Usyk that was getting hurt in that fight the way people talk about it.

Didn't they flash the scorecards up of AJ v Parker BEFORE the had srarred
Give over the Wilder fight could have happened twice first time is was clearly AJs team who were reluctant, let's be honest AJ was on Showtime u too it was time to make that fight. 2nd time Wilder want
At the time i though Usyk hurt Chisora but in hindsight i don't think he did, looked like more exhaustion from Chisora.

Really really looking forward to this fight and sticking with my prediction of Usyk stopping AJ.

Quality fight. Just hope the refereeing and judging (if needed) are fair.

It's weird Sky and Eddie have themselves in a strange situation all right, on one hand AJ is with Matchroom/DAZN who are competitors and Sky obviously would rather not promote but on the other hand they want some of that sweet PPV loot so at some point they've got to start hyping the fight but yeah they're not doing a good job up to now don't think I've seen a single mention of it on SSN.

Didn’t say he did. Didn’t mention the quality of his opponents at all in fact. But Wilder was a long reigning champion, Martin had the belt for about 2 months. If anyone wanted a belt off Klitschko or Wilder they were going to have to travel whereas Martin was a nobody.

I have to say, Hearn saw an opportunity in Martin. ANY top 10 guy or 15 guy could have took that belt, but nobody did. Very obvious route to the belt, you'd be mad not to take it.

Wlad was happy to come here. Why? Because AJ sells and Tyson doesn't.

Klitschko wasn’t champion when he fought AJ, he was when he fought Fury in Düsseldorf.

Klitschko also signed up to the Fury rematch in Manchester.

Yeah I’m not knocking the decision, you’d be mad not to take it. But it was easy to get Martin over - just chuck him a few million and take his belt, but you’d never have got Wilder or Wlad to defend their belt over here because they were much bigger draws.

Fury pulled out. Isn’t Klitschko’s fault haha. He had to travel to win a belt. Do you honestly think Klitschko would have defended his belts in the UK when he used to do stadium sellouts in Germany? The only reason he came over was to win his belts back, not because of Joshua’s stardom.

Before AJ was champ, yeah. As soon as he got the belt he was the cash cow.

    Because he doesn't sell.

He always needs a dance partner. AJ could shadowbox and do bigger numbers than Tyson.

Heck, I think Whyte might do bigger numbers than Fury.
