I think that Hrgovic is not ready for such a fight, he needs at least one more good opponent after the Bakole fight, the fight against Bakole should happen in November...

He's fighting Bakole? Nice step up fight. A good test.

Croatia is a small country and of course I hope that Hrgovic can achieve something, I did not say that he will but I hope that he will...

I find it funny that people are claiming Hrgovic at aged 29 in the prime of his life. With his international amateur experience and world boxing super series experience needs another step up before fighting AJ.

The man is ready now. No one wants to fight him that is clear. Hunter didn’t want an L from him.

Bakole gets ironed out in under 6 rounds and then depending on the situation with AJ, he will need to wait for his IBF title shot.

Hrgovic cannot be anymore ready than he is now, then it will come down to who the better man is on the night.

It's not the ideal preparation to fight for a championship fight, especially as Bakole would only his 14th fight as a pro. Bakole, Molina, Johnson and Molina as your resume isn't one you'd want before a title shot against a champion like Joshua.

But having said that, I doubt anyone decent will face him for the money he's able to pay out so it's either this now in the near future or he faces a few more Radonjic's and then fights whoever's champion in a couple of years. So I guess it really doesn't make a difference if he fights Joshua now or later.

I think Joshua beats him now based on what we've seen of Hrgovic.

    Not alone for World Title.

Hrgovic handlers and promoters doesn't looks that had invested enough money in his opponents fights purses.
He even did not had fought the likes of Chisora, Takam etc boxers.

I think he needs some fights before he will fight vs anyone from top 10. Not enough experience in pros.

Still even today he does have more chances to beat A.J than Usyk.
Cos power is important if you know that you fight vs very big cash cow. U need stoppage.
Sorry, skills are skills and power is power: I suspect Hrgovic if landed does have more chances to KO both these: A.J and Usyk than Usyk to win vs A.J.

I understand but looks that for good pro boxing career it is better to be from large country, nation.
Did not looked that these germans had invested in him enough, if he was from germany, better if from US or U.K, he had better career and already better fights purses.

It's always good to have a championship fight before you go for the big one.

GGG and Lomachenko has huge followings outside of their countries and regions. Not sure where you are from but Americans love EE fighters.

In an ideal world yes, but no one wants that Hrgovic smoke and his management/sponsors aren’t prepared to shell out for a big name opponent.

Surely Hrgovic is waiting in the shadows for the inevitable heavyweight fragmentation that will take place and will hope to pick up a shot at one of the loose belts against a Dubois, Joyce, Hunter type opponent. He would get smashed by Joshua or Fury right now.

Sadly maybe yeah and I suspect that boxers origin MAYBE might matter.
They for example does have Briedis who is de facto 4-1 in world title fights. From small Northern Euro country.
After now 12 months since last fight he does not have fight scheduled and he is old lad. Despite he does have IBF World Title and The Ring belt. Yeah, sometimes he is boring but last outings vs Dorticos and Glowacki were not boring.
Yup, this had attempted to get some fight or to move to HW. Germans looks that even had talked about possible Okolie fight. Most likely to sell him for Eddie.
    Naw.
Had they intent to promote him really, already had booked at least someone like Durodola for old lad to fight vs ring rust. Or in HW someone like Takam or like Chisora.
    Nope.
Hrgovic too isn't from large country, maybe this is reason why no one invest to gave him some opponent to train really with and test him.

Maybe now when germans are with american businessess ( Wasserman ) then they maybe will be more active?
