Warrington needs to battle his way back into the top 15 to get a shot at Barry's Whole World title.

That post was ages ago but still true. Where will he possibly earn more money than fighting warrington. Lowe gill do me a favour shocking choice for a first defence. Both have won commonwealth titles and trinket titles against no one not even won the British title.

It's a boxing forum not a rich list forum. Let's discuss World Champions who face their mandatories.
Warrington hasn't won a fight for nearly 2 years and isn't eligible to fight for Barry's Whole World title. He can make money fighting Who Can or youtubers. Game. Changed.

Good to see the Champion keep his promise with an early defence.
Martinez lost a majority decision to Warrington in Leeds.
Martinez deserves credit for daring to fight one of the Whole World's most avoided fighters.

That fight was years ago mate. It’s a crap first defence, we all know it and you defending it just makes you even more of the Awad fanboy than you already are.

He won a vacant title mate, so the minimum he should do is box a legitimate top 10 contender. Not just an alphabet top 15 guy.

What if the top 10 contenders are scared to death?
Should they be rounded up and forced to fight the champion at gunpoint?

Could you send a clip of it to Warrington, Wood, Gill or Lowe?
They might convince themselves that Barry hasn't improved in the decade since and one of them might grow a pair of nuts.

Oh mate, if you think that Gill or Lowe are legitimate world title challengers then that sadly is new age promoting talk. We expect more from you on this forum.

We all know that Wood has a mandatory (and very winnable) due now against Conlan which is also a bigger payday for him especially if it lands in Belfast.

Also I just checked boxrec and they do confirm that Josh Warrington already has a win over him on his record.

I’ll await your scrummy response dear boy.

Your going on like Barry is a monster. Jesus u named 2 lads who has basically won the commonwealth title and done nothing above that. Gill dodged a British title fight. Wood is tied up and we all know jw holds a victory over him.

Also no mention from u about the post of the lad who got bombed from his ranking of 15 with kiko all of a sudden getting ranked.

Wood was offered the chance to fight for a genuine world title.
"jw" couldn't confront his demons and quit his belt in the biggest duck in British boxing history.
If Barry isn't a monster he seems to have the featherweight division quivering (albeit full respect to Kiko Martinez).

No, no one is running from someone called Barry who has the punch power in his own division similar to Paulie Malignaggis.

Gary Russell would beat him on just punch output alone and let’s not forget he lost to Loma in only his 3rd pro outing.

In a nutshell he will probably be up there will the Bruce Seldons etc and other rubbish world champions who won vacant belts and then defended against non ranked challengers.
