True, Holyfield is not as good on the outside as 60s Ali, but he did however have way better stamina than 70s Ali.
And even if at certain moments it becomes a slugfest, Holyfield will still land double what he receives, since Foreman is slow, so the chances of getting KO'd are very slim.

One match is not indicative of anything. You should know that.
Holyfield landing on Bowe does not mean Bowe is easy to land on. It simply showcases 2 things:
    - that Holyfield was a great boxer
    - that Bowe was willing to trade with the smaller guy, a logic he can't be faulted for.

What next, are you gonna say all of Ali's opponents had weak defenses just cause he managed to land on them ?!

Well that's your opinion my friend.
Holyfield would be a live dog and wouldn't be easily squashed due to his much greater speed and better gas tank.
But i think Foreman has more advantage on the inside, he was stronger, unquestionably hit harder with a better chin. That's why i think Foreman wins.

Correction, 90s Foreman had indeed a better chin, but not so sure about 70s Foreman.

Oh please man, all respect but, Foreman was knocked down twice by Young and Ali due to exhaustion, and Ron Lyle, according to george, hit harder than every single opponent he fought in his comeback, including Tommy Morrison and Shannon Briggs.

Foreman knocks Holy out. When you choose to brawl with George which Holy would he gets stopped. This isn't the gramps version

I agree with this, I never said otherwise.

I don't know if he hit harder or not, but the thing is Lyle sure nailed him better than the other 2.
The reason I see 90s Foreman being able to withstand more punishment is his extra weight.
I think the same about 70s Ali having a better chin than 60s Ali.

Then why didn't Holyfield get KOd in 92 ?
Let me tell you why, it's the same reason 70s Foreman won't do much better: cause he's too ****in' SLOW.

George Foreman's boxing ability is underrated, he has a better jab than Holyfield and his ability to cut the ring off is well known. This would result in exchanges that Evander cannot survive . Once George stuns Holyfield it won't be the 257 pound old man who let Evander off the hook when they fought. He'll unleash a barrage of bombs and Evander will do what he does, engage. To Holy's credit I see him getting up a couple of times before the ref waves it off

Man it's unbelievable how little you actually know about this sport. Your all over these threads spouting off like your the end all to be all boxing expert with your childlike attitude. You know jack #### about this sport. You also got a way of being bothersome with your know it all attitude which tells me your most likely either still in your teens or just well nevermind I won't go there. Don't comment or reply to my posts and I'll happily do the same back.

I was the one guy who picked Evander by KO mainly because I can see him weathering the storm to wear out George late. But in truth holy could get stopped here. In either case I envision a great fight

That's not a stance that would benefit Bowe. His career is essentially built on one match.

It's built on 3 actually, but I get your point.

What I was trying to say is that boxers adjust according to whom they are facing.
For example, Ali knew he could trade with Joe, but not with Foreman. Morrison took the same approach, he knew he had to box Foreman, not slug it out with him.

I assumed you were taking them as one unit, since the difficulties that you guys were arguing about were not exclusive to the first part of the trilogy.

That's true. But Bowe didn't exactly have a huge body of work being elusive and hard to hit.
