Spot on. Katie Taylor is a bit of a recluse apparently - lives in a remote American village away from family and literally has a life of train eat sleep. Dedicated her life to it. Then you have scrotes like Courtenay and Bridges who wouldn't look out of place in a city centre kebab shop at 5am getting opportunities because Hearn has somehow conned people into thinking they're boxing's versions of Paige VanZant. Courtenay is especially insufferable when talking about how she used to be a fat bird who smoked this many cigs a day bla bla.
Bit harsh that, they are just taking an opportunity thats been presented to them, we'd all do the same if given the opportunity to earn good money doing something you love, Id describe Bridges as a typical fast eddie "Stocking filler" that bulks up the card and it does'nt cost him much. Courtenay giving up the ***s and booze and living the boxing life you got to say well done to her.
Do have to appreciate it but the depth is minimal. Marshall and Taylor are mad talented, Taylor past prime, but basically if you’re fit and matched right you get a title shot. To be fair it’s like the lower weights in men’s boxing. Marshall is the one to watch for me. Courtney is like the female Tony Bellew but fair play. She’s done well and achieved more than she ever could’ve imagined.
