Anything is possible as long as it does not contradict logic, & some understanding of our world & the facts & what is rational changes over time.
But it is highly unlikely Liston was born earlier than the early 30's-certainly way earlier is highly implausible.
I have copied much detail that is heavily citationed, showing how census, family & even Liston's own comments support a fairly narrow range of credible birth dates.

What you cite-even if you show a source about one of his siblings contradicting all other family members-is not credible evidence.
IF that was true & Liston was born at the end of WW1, then he would have been at minimum 45 when he first fought Ali/then Clay. And fought into his 50's. And be unaccountably missed by the 1920 census.
And if born early in WW1, could have been 50 by 1964! None of this is at all plausible.
Also the timeline of him being a kid & running away from his Father would make no sense.

Many people look somewhat older than they are-which due to hard living including Liston's drinking tends to be easier than looking younger. I can show you many photos, including of athletes, who aged prematurely.
Here is one pitching legend & alcoholic when he was in the Major Leagues-& he did not even have the "advantage" of being obese or bald, both of which tend to make folks look older. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=grover+cleveland+alexander+photos
You want to believe something that while possible is highly unlikely.

Tyson KO6 Liston

This would look very similar to Tyson-Thomas in 1987.

I voted for Tyson knockout. But it's more like a 50/50 or 55/45 for me. Very close one! We talked about the qualities: Liston is a crafty, powerfull, well rounded boxer puncher, with the biggest fists of all heavyweights and a hell of a reach + probably the most powerful jab of all time. Tyson was explosive like nobody else in the sport...so fast and powertful. He threw some of the best power punch combinations of all time. Both maybe not the best endurance, not the best heart but howether: Prime Mike and prime Sonny are both ridiculously underrated. Tyson lost focus and Evander displayed his weaknesses. But it didn't take anything away from prime Mike's abilities. And i feel the same way for Liston. Ali made him look like a complete fool but that doesn't mean he never was great! He just didn't manage to perform well in theese fights. (Although IMO i think the 2nd fijht was fixed...Liston acted after the knockdown. He didn't wan't to get up)

Liston scared light heavyweights, small men and bums. Mike Tyson scared 6'5 240lbs huge men. Mike Tyson wouldn't been intimidated even a bit by him, and Liston himself would've been absolutely terrified once he sees Mike's bobbing and weaving. Liston never faced a single fighter of Tyson's style with the exception of Floyd Patterson who was literally a LHW and utilised the Peekaboo style differently. Mike never played a thug, he was one. A much badder and unstable man than Liston.
Liston had a hard yet very slow jab which can be very easy to counter given Mike's speed. Tyson clips him.

He'd have some trouble early but Tyson stops him in round 6

A young and prime Mike Tyson would not be an easy win for anybody really. People with the best chances of beating him at that point in his career would be those who can stand up to his assault and hit him back with some real power or those who could stay in close and go punch for punch with him without caving in. Boxer types would have the worst time with him. There may be exceptions. I slightly favor Sonny Liston in this but I wouldn't be surprised all that much if Mike Tyson overwhelmed him. Either fighter could be hurt in this matchup and the first hurt probably loses it.

Ha,ha,ha ha,,,,,Badder than Sonny Liston? man that's delusional or you're just flat out ignorant of the life of Charles Sonny Liston. Tyson was a purse snatching punk on the streets, Liston was a hired thug who was paid to break up labor strikes, men carrying ax handles were terrified of Liston. A cop broke a night stick over Listons head as he was beating one cop, Sonny turned and put that cop in the hospital. Liston terrified of Mikey Tyson? That right there disqualifies any opinion you offer on this subject as it is totally disconnected to the reality of both men.

Liston beats the hell out of the mythical Tyson. More myth than fact surrounding Tyson these days. The man even wears and sells a GOAT t shirt which is pretty hysterical

I am aware of his life, just simply can't understand how he was more badder than Tyson. Broke a night stick over his head ? Where's your source of that claim ?

Saying facts does not equal fanboying :p
I just don't get how y'all believe in Sonny Liston as being the "baddest man on the planet before the baddest man on the planet" as he was a mere myth fuelled to popularity by Ali, Tyson and Foreman.

"Facts" is ironic coming from a Tysonite, all you guys use is your mythical "Prime Tyson!" who's never fought anybody of the likes of Liston yet "Tyson v Ali" disputes are still made. While Liston may have not have fought anybody as Tyson he faced and overcame more adversity. Tyson failed to overcome major adversity.

I was never a Tysonite nor am I one right now...I only speak non fabricated facts based on the achievements and career of fighters. Mike Tyson faced many Liston types in his career, big tall guys with power and a strong left hand. Despite some of them being journeymen or contenders, most of them can literally sweep through the fighters that Liston beat.

Except for a harsh childhood, which major adversity did Liston overcome that made him greater than Tyson ? Tyson dominated in a very hungry and tough era despite being the smaller man in most occasions, while Liston did the same in a very weak era while having a considerable size advantage against his opponents.

Liston quit going against Ali, the ONLY good fighter he faced but Mike didn't quit against the best fighters he faced.

Tyson did basically quit against Holyfield, that being said I'd favor Tyson to beat Liston
