LOL If he's half as good as his dad, he'll be better than a lot of boxers in history. Huge shoes to fill. I don't envy his position in the least. Good luck boy!
Im not sure how you quantify it, but Tracy Harris Patterson did become a solid pro who won a title (adopted son of Floyd Patterson), JC Chavez Jr whatever he has become was a legit contender at one point. But yea a lot of them seem to not be able to replicate their fathers successes (I'm thinking of Hearns, Pryor, Paez, etc).
Agree. That said, the only money he'll get of mine are from fights that I probably won't see on subscriptions I maintain to watch pro boxing.
Hopefully he'll follow in his father's footsteps. More likely, he ends up like Hasim Rahman, Jr., Monk Foreman, Tommy Morrison's sons, and the all rest of those second generation palookas who mistakenly think that heredity alone will propel them to a successful boxing career.
His other son seems to have that fast twitch muscles and speed. Too bad he's a rapper not interested in baxxing. Looks just like Pac too. lol.
I know what you mean kinda, but personally I think that's insulting to JCC Snr - Jnr never had even 1/100th of what made his dad great IMO. Eubank Jnr I would probably say is closest given he actually won a world title, but again he's not a patch on his old man.
I would dispute that he had a quarter of the talent of Sr. Sr. is considered 1,2,3 or 4 Mexican fighters in history.
