Martin Bakole says he sparred both AJ and Usyk, and he says he is not impressed with Usyk's power. I read the article below, although Bakole doesn't express it explicitly, he hints that AJ will KO Usyk. I agree. These nobodies with their sparring partners stories and other attention seeking noise, willing to get attention and get clicks and other perks cos their stories. Did you had saw such stuff from " nobody " like Briedis about Kov, Vitali and Wlad in sparring? I guess also from some other lads with different names too NO. Just money hungry kid, like all these kids is this video and topic start post author. Sparring partners stories, better they had picked to learn some real job essential for community. Not to brag : i WAS LOL sparring partner, therefore better than nobody unemployed on the street. LOL. Ha ha ha. xxxxxxxxxx ppl might put stuff like he during xx years. LOL.
lol what did he expect? Usyk was barely a knockout artist at CW and now he's fighting the big boys...come on...Usyk never was a puncher, he's a world class boxer and a skilled and slick Southpaw who wins fights based on his footwork, jab and counter punching skills. Bakole either has no idea about boxing or just wanted some attention. Well...it worked for him as we're discussing this nonsense.
Is it even guestion? While such " sparring partners " are nothing and should learn proper job. Might start with cleaner's apprentice etc roles.
In CW he had 75% stoppages ratio. He did not had finished prime shape undefeated Glowacki version, Briedis and Hunter = in good shape with low fat Hunter and Gassiev. This here. I agree that he isn't puncher but facts are facts. Of course he is not from US or UK and therefore looks not enough good. While pupps like BJS etc were more suitable to get attention cos origin and trash talk and noise. Cool.
At CW he finished only lower level opposition. And mostly based on volume. He barely has one punch KOs on his record.
He wasn't one punch lad yeah. While if we lurk at boxers he did no had finished, it will not look so easy task. Ofc these too now are old. Expect Gassiev.
Hey now, he's one of the future gatekeepers of the division. He has a very important role as a step up opponent for up and coming prospects to beat.
Bakole was not impressed with Hunters power and look how he was doing in the 10th round, same way Hunter was doing in the last round against Usyk but ref did not stop that fight for some reason.
Seems like a fair assessment by Bakole. However, just because Usyk doesn’t have a big punch doesn’t mean Usyk can’t hurt or knock Joshua out and Joshua is a much easier target to land on compared to Chisora or the guys Usyk fought at cruiserweight. Joshua even now has a habit of walking into shots (especially body shots) and Usyk’s left to the body will definitely get Joshua’s attention if he lands it enough. Also, Usyk relies more on combinations, punch volume, and his mobility than a big punch, which in some cases can be more difficult to deal with.
Usyk landed some pretty good shots on Chisora. Usyk simply lacks 1 punch KO power. He can still TKO people via combinations. Anyone with a good chin in this division is not getting KO'd by Usyk.
Hunter: 40 y.o old Povetkin's ghost was not able to finish him in distance. While 40 years 11 months old 224 lbs Povetkin's ghost had ignited elephant prospect in 252 lbs 32 y.o Whyte like flashlight with 1 punch. Briedis 33 y.o version? Very serious ukrainians had predicted decision win and risk to loss via KO.
