Its not and never really will be aimed at us tbf. Theres not enough of us to make it lucrative enough for promoters or fighters. What would you do as a promoter...appeal to the hardcore and make little money...or appeal to the mainstream and probably make a lot of money.

We moan a lot...but tbh....fury v wilder. Joshua v usyk. Parker v chisora. Crawford v spence. Canelo v plant. plus many more in the next few months off the back of the coronavirus aren,t all that bad for the hardcore boxing fan. Not exactly sure what people want....its not perfect...but its far from being as bad as hardcore boxing fans are claiming.

Bbjc is right, people should never kid themselves that promoters care, or cater, to the hardcore, they dont, wont and havent for years

The casual audience that come out for beers, kebabs and a good ol sing song are the target audience and where most money is made,

Its another internet forum fallacy that they take note of The hardcore boxing fan who is clued up on history, rankings, mandatories, the ins and outs and nuances of the game, they dont give a s**t

Are people seriously suggesting that Browne takes dives?

    1) He's always been garbage
    2) The Rugby player he lost to is actually kinda handy
    3) See point 1

I come on here to escape the bull**** moaning of my girlfriend only to read constant moaning...and it's always about the same old stuff. Like you said, there's loads of decent fights coming up and I for one can't wait.

Go to the RBR thread for the fight and see the views of many very good posters - Big Jihadi Browne a disgrace

He has been hit hard many times throughout his career and has either taken the punches or has risen off the canvas like he did against Chagaev, who, by the way, is a much better puncher than the likes of Dave Allen and Paul Gallen. The latter two barely hit him.

Of course, his punch resistance will have faded, but that's besides the point. Just look at the two knockdowns and analyse them independently. You'd have to be really biased to suggest that he was genuinely unable to continue in these bouts.

That's a bit harsh. He isn't nothing special but he's been in some good fights. Hate it when I see boxers still fighting when they are way past it. Hopefully he hangs his gloves up for good soon.

I get your point mate but nobody wanted a third Fury v Wilder fight. Crawford and Spence have thus far shown no interest in fighting each other. Joshua v Usyk is a great fight but it was 2nd after Joshua v Fury. Canelo isn't fighting Plant is he, isn't there some politics with that one? Nobody is calling for that fight anyway really. I'd rather see Parker v Whyte to be honest. That's unfinished business imo but Whyte is choosing Wallin and we're having Parker v Chisora instead which is OK but not a PPV.

This is my issue, there are much more mouthwatering fights that could be made that we all want to see...it doesn't even have to be the very top lads either but what we get instead is the fighters we want to see fighting each other on the same card but fighting other opponents in lop sided contests instead of fighting each other.

Just getting very disillusioned with it all mate. Same old same old.

I haven't been complaining about the fights you listed there in fact I'm happy they are finally taking place (Edit : Crawford - Spence isn't taking place and Chisroa - Parker II is rubbish LOL but anway )and if you look around on the Brit forum there's been plenty of very good debate recently regarding predictions and tactical analysis for Usyk/AJ and Fury/DW.
No, the complaining has been about the continued poor matchmaking by specifically DAZN after the promises Eddie made to change things then continue to serve up the same mismatch smoke and mirrors rubbish and then after all that a significant price increase. That is what the complaining is primarily about.
But you're right about the casuals being needed by promoters to maximise profits and that's a major issue DAZN may or nor not be facing with going as a purely streaming service but I don't want to go into that again because in recent months it's been done ad nauseam on here.

Whyteleafe is fighting OTTO Wallin? Fair play if so, he's fighting a young hungry lion in his PRIME for once. Respect due to Whyteleafe here.

Wallin has to be a huge favourite for this one, proved he has chin and heart against Fury, which coupled with his speed and movement is more than enough to piece up a one dimensional glass chinned brawler like Whyteleafe.

    Wallin KO 10-12.

Not quite. He just sniffed impending disaster and prepared his escape from the sinking ship...
