What a stupid idea from AJ, so far hearn has failed to deliver the only two fights we’ve all wanted to see for AJ. While the other two protagonists have fought each other. Surely he’d be better of being a free agent he’s a big enough draw to pull it off for sure

Good that he is at least loyal as Mr Eh Day has made him a fortune and paved a very easy path for him to follow.

Apart from the Ruiz bannana skin The Used Car Salesman has delivered to AJ a mountain of PPV loot while bar Wlad avoiding every possible dangerous fight going. He's delivered big time for AJ if all money is what he cares about which seems to be the case.

The fact AJ could go alone but sticks with matchroom tells me Hearn has done a great job

From the Adam Smith interview on ifl earlier it sounded like AJ’s fights will still be on Sky Box Office.

If Adam Smith interviewed me and looked at me with those 'come to bed' eyes, I'd do what he demanded to get out of the situation.....inc signing with Eddie

Not really, Hearn isn’t delivering the big fights from a boxing stand point

Aj wilder would’ve been HUGE. 2/3 years ago. Hearn really fumbled the bag. I believe aj would’ve won too

Probably because Usyk is going to retire him

I don't understand the signing his final contract bit though.

Why would you sign the rest of your boxing career away to one promoter. What if Matchroom go downhill and can't deliver him the fights he wants for the money he wants, later on down the line and he gets offers from other promoters?

They'd have to pay a massive lumpy fee to release him. Next 5 fights, I understand. The rest of his boxing career though...

What if the next 5 fights is the end of his career though, I mean it is possible at the stage he is at that if he beats Usyk another 5 fights could mean curtains on his career especially if in those 5 fights are with Wilder/Fury
