Had some lighter men bouts in mind but none that wouldn’t be at the top or second

 superb, definitely my favourite, though it's WRONG to put Langford on as an opener of anything, morally. You'll be in good company with King you animal!

You know what? I think you're in a bit of trouble here with your choice of main event. That main event isn't making huge money...Moore did well at LHW but not spectacularly and we all know Spinks wasn't enamoured with his purses at LHW which boiled down to what he was drawing, though they both did ok.

Are you definitely making enough money Sal, to get superstar Tito Trinidad, who fought for an equivalent purse of 17 million dollars at his peak? Is he fighting Basilio for less than that, and will Basilio settle for less than 40% of that amount?

It's a great card, it's a great card, but Sal, given the limitations of the thread, I have to say

Would it help to know that the crowd is full of hipsters? All 12 of them.

You have a point about the main event, but as to Tito, I think it's entirely possible for him to show up in this context. The early to mid-90's saw him do that very thing on a multitude of Don King cards.

    Undercard through to Main event:
    • Fight 1: 10 round middleweight contest: Tony Sibson v Henry Hank
    • Fight 2: 10 round light welterweight contest (no. 1 contender v no. 2 contender): Jose Napoles v Wilfred Benitez
    • Fight 3: 12 rounds: NABF light heavyweight title: Marvin Johnson v Yaqui Lopez
    • Fight 4: 15 rounds: Undisputed World Lightweight Championship: Roberto Duran v Alexis Arguello
    • Fight 5: 15 rounds: Undisputed Heavyweight Championship of the World: Joe Frazier v Evander Holyfield

    Justification:
    • Fight 1: Pick 'em fight between a good, promising middleweight contender against a durable, marginal contender/journeyman. Sibson is the betting favourite and is expected to come through a tough test but Hank is going the full 10 and will give guaranteed value for money... and may also win.
    • Fight 2: Benitez didn't really have a pre-prime (unless you consider his time as a toddler) and Napoles was smack bang in the middle of his at 140. Napoles fought in relative obscurity for much of the 60s so fighting second on the card wouldn't be a problem and Benitez is 17 so not a household name. But people are about to find out about these two.
    • Fight 3: NABF champ Johnson v world title contender Lopez. No way this can be anything other than guaranteed dynamite.
    • Fight 4: World's lightweight champion Duran against Super featherweight king Arguello in a grudge match that has had half a decade to marinate.
    • Fight 5: The irresistible force v the (mostly) immovable object. Two guys who loved a war and had more heart than anyone else. You can have Ali v Louis or Ali v Tyson. I'm having this one, please.

Is that what he said when he failed to put Pac v Mayweather on at the right time?

    My predictions are as follows:

Robinson squeezes out the closest of decisions in a fight where he tries every trick in the book, but his only answer to Duran's ridiculously skilled, and relentless pressure, is raw firepower. After trying to stick and move, trying to counter Duran on the way in and even trying to out-muscle him, he realises his only option is force the Panamanian legend to respect him. Leverage and velocity start to the do the trick, but Duran still makes it hell for him in the late rounds.

In a fight not too dissimilar from the main event, Gomez grits through a hard fought, ridiculous paced fight to stop Fenech with an accumulation of torrid combinations. The opening rounds were ferocious, but as the fighters wore one another down, the pace dropped but the severity of Gomez's shots soon brought an air of entertainment back, as a knockout was on the tip of everyone's tongues.

Bobby Chacon overcome a third round trip to the canvas before getting up and soldiering out a grim battle. Using similar movement to what we saw vs Danny Lopez, Chacon defused the big puncher by stepping laterally with combination.

I tend to think Paez picks himself off the floor a couple of times and overwhelms Kelley late. It's a match-up where chin prevails, and Paez definitely has the better chin. Their styles would gel for an amazing fight, though.

I think Yuh's superior defence and skillset is what wins here. Neither will out-work the other to a serious degree, it's a case of whose work is better. Which will be Yuh's IMO.

    Let's go!
So... I'm focusing on this fight as if "The whole world would be watching" and "this will be socially impactful" type card, like the non-main event bouts are just an apéritif to this wondrous main course.

The Main Event of the Evening, 15 Rounds for the UNDISPUTED HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WORLD!
"The Brown Bomber" Joe Louis vs "The Greatest" Muhammad Ali

Joe Louis was apart of the most listened to, socially impacting, race unifying event in American History against Schmeling. Muhammad Ali was a cultural icon that was praised around the world. The World would watch this fight, it wouldn't be for the greatest purse, but the impact culturally would be memorizing.

    Co-Main Event
Light Welterweight Championship of the World.
Arturo "Thunder" Gatti vs Barney Ross
This would just be a great scrap. It really would. And for a title? Sure.

    Feature Bout:
    Claressa Shields vs Ann Wolfe
Love this. Honestly would be interesting style wise. Make it for a Vacant North American Title.

    Undercard:
    #1 Contender Match
    Ray Mercer vs David Tua

Set Up Bout Light Welterweight (New Pro vs Journeyman)
Miguel Cotto (Pre Title) vs Micky Ward (Before Gatti)
