He's a cheat and its been proven. Its not hate its facts.
He lost the first GGG fight. Its not even up for debate.

The most skilled fighter he ever faced-Mayweather outboxed him SOUNDLY the entire fight. And Mayweather wasn't in his prime.
Canelo sells tickets and that's it. He filled the vacum when JCC retired.
I laugh when people say he's the best boxer that Mexico has ever produced.
Show me where he met a fighter like Wilfredo Gomez like Sanchez did.
People complained Of Mayweather cherry picking and he did in some sense. Especially latter in his career.
But Canelo? He's pretty much done in for most of his career.
Matched up with Mayweather and he "wasn't" ready.
And yet he was a pro with 40 odd fights and couldn't even win more then TWO rounds against an aging smaller boxer???

Ya'll call Canelo a bully ,right ?? What is a bully?? A bully is basically nothing but a coward ,he only beats of people he knows he cannot lose to. SO!!
I think the title Bully/coward fits him perfectly . Remember him handing back his bogus WBC belt like a wimp because he feared GGG ??? lol
The great Mexican fans havent theyve never forgiven him he's DISOWNED!!!

The amount of corruption that helped him attain that status rules him out as a successful athlete.
I think its not people hating him, like you canelo groupies claim, it's real boxing fans like myself that have no respect for a cowardly cheating bully
    cheating the good honest fighters

yeah, he failed a **** test, like many others. including fury and bjs. i agree, i think ggg beat him first fight, but its very much debatable, has been since the fight.

neither was canelo. he was a young 23yo champ who started boxing in his teens and had practically no amateur experience, facing one of the greatest ever. i think he did fine for that stage of his development.

he sells tickets AND he can fight. any boxing head can see that. its obvious...without the hate goggles.

he may well end up becoming the best boxer mexico ever produced. no matter how much laughing you do over it. why would i need to show you that? whats the purpose?

mayweather did cherry pick. blatantly. and canelo cherry picks too. but as long as he cherry picks belts, i wont complain.

cj, you have an emotional connection with canelo and mayweather that is pathological. they short circuit your brain. prevents you from thinking logically, complete emotional control.

That's not the problem. We love the drama show and violence. The problem is the rampant cheating in the Reynoso gym which goes unpunished under the WBC protection act 902.

Totally agree with most of your post. But the first fight was clearly a GGG win. The second thought Canelo won.
Oh he can fight and he isn't devoid of talent that's for sure. Just don't think he is in the same class as say a Sanchez.
Don't think I would consider it doing well to get almost completely shut out by the best fighter I have faced if I was CANELO. If anything he showed the level of his talent in that fight.
For instance a Cotto gave Mayweather a much better fight in a losing effort.
He had been a pro for almost ten years before meeting Mayweather- as a pro he should have made adjustments in that fight which he did not and WORSE he didn't even try when it was apparent the original plan wasn't working.

a fighters experience is measured in ring time in actual competition, not in calendar years. canelo did not have a lot of actual rds under his belt at that point. floyd had all the training and experience that it takes to become an olympic champion, plus fighting top pros across several divisions. canelo was getting his first taste of elite level, against a special elite. on top of that, he had to come in at a weight several pounds under a weight he was already struggling with. its a huge ask for a kid with his limited experience. a completely new and much more difficult situation for him.
there are certain things you cant prepare for in the gym. you have to experience them in the ring to become aware of what you have to add to your arsenal to be able to deal with this level. much like what plant is about to experience. canelo is plants floyd. except canelo, unlike floyd, can actually take some years off your life.

It's always funny to me when boxing fans start to seriously suspect that their favorite CHAMPION PUGILISTS aren't kind, upstanding citizens. You know how many thousands of days in a row you need to go to the gym wanting to beat the f*** out of someone, then succeeding in that, to be where these guys are? They're not normal people, and they're not in a normal line of work. Stop expecting them to be normal, or even generally law abiding for that matter.
