I was ridiculed when I said Margarito would KO Cotto in fight 1 They said Tony was a punchbag & a statue LOL WRONG! that statue beat the crap out of Cotto
Same thing when I forecast Ike Ibeabuchi would beat Tua.. After the fight it was' Where have you been hiding him " lol
It pays when you know the guys concerned

Well if thats true then I'll keep it in mind. I won't write off Usyk TKOing Joshua but plant stopping Canelo ? I can see plant upsetting the odds by using his height and reach to the max and mixing it with his slickness to give Canelo a world of problems but i just don't think he can stop Canelo

I hope Usyk gets a stoppage between rds 7-12 because I will win a sizeable amount of money. But what I think happens is we get Joshua from Ruiz II, who will be Klitschko 2.0 [jab and grab Usyk in close, move around the ring, occasional right hand to keep him honest].

Joshua may in fact gas using this strategy, it worked against fatboy Ruiz who couldn't apply pressure because he was both fat and slow of foot. That isn't Usyk, who can apply pressure and has excellent footwork and speed. But still I think Joshua KNOWS he doesn't have good punch resistance so even if he gases out, I think he'll be able to tie up Usyk without any sort of penalty from the referee.

Usyk isn't a big puncher but neither is Ruiz, who bounced shots off a shot White Wolf and Arreola without being able to hurt or stop either guy. Usyk can knockout Joshua, no question in my mind. The thing is I don't think it's a high probability given AJ now is going to fight to just survive and get his pre-filled decision.

Joshua UD wider than it should be.

If Usyk stops AJ, I think it will be 9-10-11.

Difficult question, are you asking how I think the fight will play out, or how I expect the bout to be officiated?

I would have gone for a marginal victory on points had Usyk kept his weight down. I think the skill disparity would have bridged the gap of weight, reach and height, but I didn't expect him to get a win on the cards.

With Joshua trimming down, and Usyk bulking up to near 230. Will he really be able to impose his usual pressure and go through the gears as the fight progresses? It seems like the wrong move going in too heavy.

I'm going for Joshua by late stoppage.

He used bricks in the Cotto fight, nobody counts it

Ike is another pos, but at least he didn't cheat and had real talent

You associate with scumbags, it says plenty about you

After rewatching the Breidis fight, I'm going to have to go AJ.

    @C.J.

    Don't hide

You claim you know boxing and state that caleb will knock out a man that went 24 rounds with ggg and was never floored or hurt by other punchers

Plant has barley a 50% knock out ratio fighting plants lol

So what logic are you basing it on Plant stopping Canelo?

That is the most silly post I have read on this forum the past 2 years lol

Usyk outboxes him, causes a lot of problems with the left hand, possibly stops him and makes him quit. In pain, demoralised and exhausted, a voice in the back of AJ's head starts to sing, 'Eddie got you a rematch, just get him next time yeah?'.

    This.

I think it'll be a close fight, Joshua will get the benefit of the doubt over close rounds like champs almost always do.

Those who really dislike Joshua will scream robbery, most will accept it wasn't clear enough for a belt to change hands over.

If anyone gets the KO it's Joshua, but I don't think he's going in there desperate to find it either.

To be clear, if we were talking about a prime Usyk I think he'd have enough to make it a clear win...

But I don't think what we're getting is close to prime Usyk.

He hasn't needed to be at his best for over three years, he's had injuries during the intervening years and he's gained a lot of weight - all of which suggests he'll be slower than his best, and almost certainly have less exceptional stamina, too.

Whilst Joshua is no ATG, he's a very solid and pretty well proven HW champion.

Usyk moving up from cruiser in his twilight years and schooling a solid champion to get a decision or reinventing himself as a puncher capable of knocking out that champion would be an ATG achievement.

I just think the deck is stacked heavily against Usyk before a punch is even thrown and I don't think he's likely to pull it off (even though I'd prefer it if he did).
