Biggest load of BS that I've heard AJ say is that he doesn't do it for the money. It's shameful that he has partnered with stub hub and they buy up his tickets then sell them for higher on the secondary markets. He's aided in turning a working class sport to a sport that's inaccessible to the working class. He shouldn't have said anything instead of the humble BS that he sprouts all the time.
This ****ing interpreter is a disgrace. Usyk clearly said "check mate" and this translator translated it to: "Chess matt" ****ing hell, she gets paid to do this. SHould have brough Alex Krassyuk along
really wish this fight could of happened 3 ish years ago when usyk was in prime would of been a easy fight for him.. but at 34 i think joshua is gonna hurt him late
As someone who’s been watching boxing for 18 years, I’ve never been more pumped. This is the moment I’ve been waiting for for literally a decade as an Usyk fan.
Seems like Joshua's plan is to rip the body of Usyk with massive body shots, kind of what Chisora tried.
Joshua has a tall head, and the camera angle favours Joshua in the more common clips. It's a matter of perspective, but Usyk looks no shorter than Parker did in his face off, which is about right.
Interesting , this tactic slipped my mind completely. . Look for a body attack early from Joshua. It would be a wise strategy.
Sounds great in theory, but Joshua isn't the man to do it. Usyk winced at one point from a body shot against Bellew, so it's a good tactic. However, Joshua isn't a fluid body puncher and doesn't have the grit/steamroll approach that Chisora has to make the body shots available. Joshua has never been a great body puncher - jabs to the gut, sure. Telling hooks, not so much. It's worth noting, for each body shot that Joshua offers, Usyk will counter up top. The risk that Joshua's chin is checked is far too high. He doesn't have the whiskers to withstand counter shots coming forward. Not to mention Joshua's history with southpaws... I'm excited!
