Okayyy.... And that applies to my point, which is that Joshua could've fought Usyk earlier (kept it on the back boiler for as long as possible, would've kept it there longer had Fury been allowed to take the fight) and will benefit from Usyk ageing? Or does that apply to people who think AJ chose to fight Usyk at all and think it's a cherrypick?
He knew the Fury fight would be a arguably significantly bigger name on his resume and a bigger payday. Hearn always said if the Fury fight doesn't happen he'll make the Joshua/Usyk fight and it did fall through so now he's being a man of his word. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/30255886/hearn-reveals-joshua-face-usyk-fury-fight-falls-through?platform=amp
It might be a good stylistic match up, but you can't cherry pick a former undisputed champion, who happens to be undefeated and ranked at heavyweight I Don't know if it's the toughest test available, time will tell, but it is certainly the biggest
If he can't beat Usyk why even bother with Fury They'd rather skip straight to the Fury $100m but sometimes life has different plans.
Absolutely not. If you fight one of the best ever from the weight below you are fighting a real opponent.
Stop this…. He hasn’t even fought Usyk and you’re already trying to discredit a potential win. The hate is real
Agree. They,d have dropped the belt if usyk looked really dangerous. Eddie would be trying to put whyte in usyks way imo. Smaller and light hitting should always really be a good joshua opponent from a promoters perspective.
mandatory so no.. but obiviously Usyk has looked average at hw... and hes 34 now.. i want usyk to win tomorrow but iain't confident about it.
