Pretty sure it was in his autobiography that he starved himself alot and was on a diet to cut weight. He may have also lost some water weight at points becsuse i also heard he did that but I'll look more into it. They logically probably also cut a lot of pounds during camp.

He was naturally 230lb wheras it seems like Usyk ate and bulked up out the ass to get to that point.

Usyk without having to train down for CW should weigh around 220.

I think you are right, also Usyk never agreed to step aside for Joshua v Fury.
In fact Warren and Hearn were trying to get the WBO to force Usyk into a fight with Joyce for the interim title
But Usyk's side wasn't willing to sign.
Usyk waited on his mandatory rights, and now he is fighting Joshua

You have to remember Holyfield fought when cruiserweight was only 190lbs so he had a 25lbs climb to get to 215lbs while Usyk fought in the 200lbs era so only needed to gain 15lbs.

Also Holyfield was just as lean at 215lbs as 190lbs so all the weight he gained was muscle which takes longer to add to your body even with roids. Usyk has taken a different approach and added body fat and well as muscle.

45 year old Foreman wasn't 245lbs he was 250lbs and he wasn't even that fat, the fat Foreman we all have an image of in our heads would be the version that fought Evander at 257lbs and or Schultz at 256lbs.

A 245lbs Foreman was last seen vs Carlos Hernandez in 1988 and he didn't look too bad, no worse than say Whyte vs Povetkin and Whyte was a similar weight.

But yeah he's probably similar in size to Parker. Parker isn't a small heavy he's average for this era as would Foreman be in this era of much bigger men. Foreman was big for his era but he's average in this era.

Usyk's always been a natural heavyweight if you judge by slightly older standards of the weight. He regularly fought around 210-215 in the WSB where there was no weight cutting required (don't quote me on that, but he was certainly never below 200) and obviously never fought at CW without gaining a good 8-10lbs on fight night. That puts him in the same territory as Joe Louis, 60s Ali, Joe Frazier and other greats of the division, as well as noted punchers like Shavers and Baer (whom no-one ever calls small).

220 is obviously a career high for him, but is it so strange considering his age and the nature of the opponent he's fighting? And unlike someone like Adamek or even Haye Usyk's frame can quite easily distribute the weight (mostly around his wide, squarish torso) without making him look noticeably bigger. Adamek at the weight looked bloated, while Haye looked juiced out of his eyeballs.

Regarding Foreman comparisons, that's a bit misleading, since by most accounts Foreman leaned himself down for fight night but tended to walk around at a much higher weight. You can tell he's naturally a thicker-set man than Usyk anyway, wider in the shoulders, thicker in the back, bigger joints etc. Usyk isn't a small man but he's built more like a soccer player and most of his weight (as already mentioned) tends to be in his midsection. That allows him to move up and down in weight within a certain window without it massively impacting him, but anything beyond that and he's likely to start looking like a stocky fridge with tooth pick arms. Foreman, due to his thicker frame, could afford to move up higher without it affecting him too much.

There's certainly can be a reality check tonight, when the scrawny Usyk realizes his punches are having no effect on that glass chin bodybuilder.

Usyk announced he was moving up to heavyweight six months before Joshua fought Ruiz, you lemon. He was scheduled to fight Takam in May, but pulled out with an injury. Then tried to get Povetkin in July.

Stop trying to spin this narrative that Usyk is ducking Joshua, despite them fighting tonight. It's weird

    Usyk 211lbs - Nistor 233lbs
    Usyk 213lbs - Modugno 277lbs
    Usyk 210lbs - Majidov 235lbs
    Usyk 211lbs - Joyce 238lbs
    Usyk 209lbs - Brechlin 263lbs
    Usyk 208lbs - Fa 246lbs

Usyk was 208lbs and 207lbs against Mchunu and Hunter and 215lb and 217lbs against Witherspoon and Chisora up at HW.

I don't see where Usyk added bodyfat. I was watching his WSB fights last night and he wasn't exactly ripped. He looks the same BF% to me now as he does back then.

He sure doesn't hit like Foreman. I'd compare him more to Ali, although he's not as fast; so maybe Holyfield is the best comparison.

Ofc he doesn't hits like Foreman or even Frazier.
Prime Usyk was faster and more agile than Ali from 70 ies, with 0 doubts, while slower than Ali from 60 ies.

Holyfield is different by style alone.
His frame was smaller than Usyk's frame and he might be 190 lbs for CW weight ins.
When he turned into HW division boxer he had put on approx at least 18 lbs very effective muscle mass on.
208?lbs he was in one HW fight and already looked damn more muscular than in the ring when he was CW boxer.

    His hero ducks everyone.
His hero is a brave warrior soul.

Ergo - everyone must be a habitual duck too.
