Just been rewatching Usyk v Gassiev and a video I've not seen for a long time popped up on my feed.

Andy Rice Pudding Jr already popped that balloon, but I get what you're saying.

Usyk is one of my favourite boxers so I will be rooting for him. I just hope no robbery. I'd rather see him get KO'd.

If Usyk gets robbed despite winning a close decision what do we do?

I propose a forum wide protest. Daily Usyk robbed threads/comments.

All eyes on Steve Weisfeld, the bought American judge.

It’s in the books now brother! Just need Usyk to come through and I’m good!

I’d love to say it stems from a place of experienced gambling, but it’s actually me being a scrounge for $. I hate gambling, but when I have a say on the odds and can add to the experience of sport - why not!

In NZ our betting service is called TAB. When I first opened an account they matched my $100 deposit with $100 free. Every time I get a win I withdraw everything and revert to the free $100 I started with. That way I’m not losing anything. If I lose the $60 I’ve bet on this fight, I’ll take safe bets in rugby to ensure I build back up to $100.

I took educated risks on GGG/Canelo 2 (Via Corruption - won $550 even though it enraged me), Joshua/Ruiz 2 (TD - incredibly predicable - won $400) and Wilder/Fury 2 (KO - won over $1100). I lost on the Pac/Thurman fight, but was happy at that…

Key - never bet with your heart. People are too emotional and play into the hands of tempting odds.

Welcome to ESB. Every one loves to talk about PEDS but have had no experience or knowledge of what they are or how they work.

Those claiming Clen grows your head and the likes crack me up. The Canelo excusers are the best.

Solid, sound analysis as usual GC
I think Usyk sees out the first 1/4 of the fight messing Joshua but ensuring he lulls Joshua into a false sense of confidence. Creating counter opportunities, shots to the mid section to drain the stamina and come on strong to get the stoppage.

I bet on the stoppage from Usyk, but understand if he does win 8+ rounds he will be rigged on the scorecards via a Fury/Wilder 1 like Draw. So I bet on that too…

To be fair, he did get a tattoo of the GB lion on his back after he won gold at the 2012 Olympics; so he's giving a nod to you guys too.

I think AJ controls early; Usyk sometimes will take his time getting started, especially against guys who like to work off a consistent jab. Usyk typically surges in the second half once he completes his download, so I do think he comes on, ups the volume and gradually works his way back into the fight. But I'm not convinced that he can land with enough frequency or with enough power to force a stoppage, no am I convinced that the judges will be sufficiently swayed by his quick bursts and body attack to award him the lion's share of rounds.

So, I think we're looking at a close, controversial decision in a fight that I'll probably think could be scored either way (depending on when Usyk decides he wants to stage his rally).

I've got AJ MD as the final outcome. Let's see how it plays out.

Proper 50/50 fight this! Lots of different factors involved that I won’t go into.

I fear for AJ and this is from a fan of his. If he doesn’t take usyk out early then he’ll be exhausted by the pace come the championship rounds.

with 2 counter punchers this could end up being a really rubbish fight but I hope not.

will be cheering for AJ but think usyk will win
