wow, split decision. In my head that was not so close. Marcu won so many rounds to be close.

Interesting scorecards, the 99-91 must have been based on pressure and controlling the centre. Still I want a rematch over 12 because Marku looked gassed from running. Not sure he can do it at world level.

Marku barely did anything. Prodan mostly missed. Not a very impressive fight.

Marku is not even top 15, he would get beaten soundly by Benn

he has only 8 fights. To assault the top champions you need at least 20 fights or so. Let's say 17 or 18 at the very least. For 8 professional fights I think that's ok. He has still margin for improvement.

There should also be an over / under on how many unauthorised time outs the referee will give Joshua.

Difference is, AJ hits objectively harder and comes in heavier than Usyk rather than same approximate weight... Usyk will certainly feel it if he gets tagged with anything remotely big.

There are other differences too - AJ only needs to make most rounds close to win by champions privilege (champs get the benefit of the doubt over close rounds).

Usyk will need to make this very clear - especially if he can't knock Joshua out, and I'm far from convinced he can.
