Did they rang the bell early in the 12th round to save AJ?

Maybe I'm crazy, but it seemed like they rang the bell early.

The timer showed 12 seconds and the bell rang a few seconds later. I'll have to watch it again.

It looked like it on my DAZN feed. Bell rung at 7seconds.

Usyk actually stepped back for a few secs and gave Joshua the dignity of not being KO'd I thought.

They rung it early because EVERYONE will see at least 20 seconds of this fight on twitter. They knew it was getting UGLY and AJ was about to take 10 more clean shots and possibly get dropped/stopped.

It's insane what AJ's privilege gets him. About to get KO'd in epic fashion in the 12th? Let's just call it a decision, we've seen enough.

About 10 secs too early, to save the manufactured JD's posterboy.

    Absolutely

They tried, I bet Eddie ran up and rung it himself.

Much respect to Chisora btw, did a better job with Usyk than AJ did.

I say Chisora Vs AJ for the right to fight Usyk

If fights were 15 rounds as they should be Joshua wouldn't have survived the 13th, heck I don't know if his corner would have let him out for the next round.

This is a good point. Chisora is a lot better than his 8 losses or whatever it is suggests

8 seconds early, possibly robbed Usyk of a KO.

Why didn't AJ speak after the fight?

Why didn't he bomb Usyks interview and congratulate him like he did with Ruiz?

May be like 5 seconds too early they rang the bell.

It reminded me of the way Hunter barely survived against Usyk at Cruiser few years ago, Usyk had more difficulties with Briedis and Chisora somehow compared to AJ.

Usyk unlike other fights, didnt start slow and was 4-0 ahead on my card, only similar performance was against Gassiev with another quick start.
