Wilder would be a man and let his hands fly freely!!!
Wilder would at least go for broke if he was behind the scorecards and he has that one deadly shot.

He tried going forward a few times and he was always unsuccesful.
The only adjustment he can make is to put on weight and do a chisora, put everything on knocking Usyk out in the first 4 rounds, however if he doesn't KO Usyk by rd 5, Usyk will knock a tired AJ out around rd 8

I think Usyk first felt a KO was doable in the final twenty second of the fight.

And having rewatched the last round, I noticed that the bell man rang the bell between five and six seconds early.

And AJ was tottering at the time.

AJ may well have been spared the KO by the (early) bell.

Hunter? LOL The guy who drew with old Povetkin, couldn't even put him down, and was saved by an incompetent referee who didn't count Povetkin's legitimate knockdown of Hunter as such?

    Get out of here.

That was absolutely sickening and Hatton is even worse accepting this 'win'.

Not accepting incompetence as an excuse either from an experienced referee who had the best view of the fight.

These people should be sacked before they leave the ring.

McDonnell was put in there to do a specific job and he done it. He's been the most questionable of all officiating staff this year. He's a disgrace and he has that annoying "stop boxing!!! stop boxing!!!!" thing.

No, it just shows that a fighter who is 6' 3 (190-191 cm) with good boxing skills and stamina, is still better than taller and bigger fighters, or a tall guy who can KO anyone but has average fundamentals.

Usyk is fairly similar to Ali, Holyfield, Foreman, Holmes in stature and physique. They were all 6' 3. Andy Ruiz also beat Joshua, with fast hands and good fundamentals, and is 6' 2.5 (188-189 cm), just shorter than Usyk. AJ, Klitscko, Valuev etc. were big, but they could be defeated. Lewis though, at 6'5, and to some extent Fury, are different, because they are taller and bigger, but also boxers, but I think both a fit Ruiz as well as Usyk can beat Fury. I would not be surprised if Usyk eventually has all the belts, and is also the lineal and ring champion.

AJ might retire. Usyk is all wrong for him, and unlike Ruiz who did not train and has an eating disorder, Usyk will just get better and better for the next 1-2 years as a HW.

I somewhat agree but two things
Firstly Joshua NEVER threw his best shots which was one of the disappointing things about his performance.
I think he fell in love with the idea of being a boxer rather than a fighter and it’s cost him his titles. If and it’s a BIG IF he’s going to fight again then he needs to look carefully at his trainer who set the wrong tactics and failed to recognise that AJ needed to go after Usyk in the last 4 rounds.

Secondly, Usyk clearly said that he went for the KO in the first 3 rounds but couldn’t hurt Joshua enough so he went back to his original game plan of fighting with speed and going for a points win.

Sure, I can see it. I think Briedis gave Usyk a harder fight and ran him closer on my card.

This was @McGrain's avatar for a while. Great picture.

Usyk could’ve finished him but stepped off too which was weird.. or perhaps he was giving Joshua the dignity of not being stopped? Could’ve been an ugly one through the ropes..

We know he gets paid a nice sum as well for that specific job - shocking.
