I think after the Ruiz Jr loss he tried to become a better boxer from the rematch onwards and he never fully ingrained into his new style.

He lacks confidence in his ability to take a punch which is quite clear because he's more hesitant to get involved in an exchange. He seems less explosive now so i don't know what's changed in his training regime.

After round 2 i thought Joshua looked befuddled and never had any clue how to download the Usyk code. It's like he was trying to figure out a complex equation and he had this bewildered look on his face for the entirety of the rounds.

His movement seemed a bit slower than usual but Usyk probably made it seem worse.

I think mentally he won't ever fully recover from this. I mean he could bounce back against an inferior level opponent for a confidence builder but i think his days are now truly numbered.

His punch resistance has been depleted. The best version lf Joshua happened before Klitscho, this version is like 80 % what he once was.

When Joshua gets hit, he looks like a deer in headlights, shade of Wladimir.

He was just up against a superior fighter. That’s all there is to it.

Just look at his body language shortly after the bell. He was happy that he survived that round and than he was sitting in his chair for 5 minutes. What else can you say about him.

No, he's definitely suffering major confidence issues in comparison to the fighter he was pre Ruiz, no doubt about it.

he's scared to get hit, scared to commit , he's just scared in there now.

    Which obviously ruins a fighter.

The only answer now is to hire Fast Eddie Chambers as his head trainer.

Only Wladimir at 32 had superior footwork, jab, left hook and right hand to Joshua.

he knows he cant pin usky down so had to box with him

If he sat on his shots he'd miss and gas

Same thing happened to wlad against Fury

he doesnt trust his chin enough to chase after Usyk like Chisora did

Imagine what Fury would do to him? it would be embarrassing

Watching the fight reminded me of something Sugar Ray Robinson said:

“You don't think. It's all instinct. If you stop to think, you're gone.”

because Joshua was the complete opposite of this.

He seemed to have to think and make a decision before he threw a punch.

There was nothing instinctive about his performance.

He might win the rematch but the flaws and deficiencies are there and they'll be exploited by someone else before long.

The version before Klit fought bums, come on.
Aj is a great fighter, he gave Usyk problems and Usyk is an ATG. I knew it'd be comfortable for Usyk but stop hating on AJ. He has the best resume at HW.

He's not, he was commiting plenty vs Pulev so don't give me that. He fought a smart fight vs Ruiz and then got beaten by one of the best of all time in Usyk.

The eyes never lie. In between rounds, Joshua's had a strange look in his eyes, I wouldn't describe it as fearful, but damn near close.
