I'll just post what I did from the original fight thread Usyk: 1,2,3,4,7,9,10,11,12 Joshua: 5,6,8 117-111
I had it 3 a piece after the 6th. 8 - 4 Usyk. And I was being generous to Joshua. I could easily have it 10 - 2 or 9- 3.
Round 8 was clearly for Joshua, he landed some right hands, and very solid power body shots. 5-6 and 8 are the rounds i give to Joshua, after i rewatched the fight again. Just don't see how you can make a case for any other round for Joshua. Maybe second for even, but that's it. 115-113 was a travesty from 1 of the judges. He was ready for the robbery if the fight was closer.
Round 1 Usyk 10-9 Round 2 Usyk 10-9 Round 3 Usyk 10-9 Round 4 Usyk 10-9 Round 5 Usyk 10-9 Round 6 Joshua 10-9 Round 7 Usyk 10-9 Round 8 Joshua 10-9 Round 9 Usyk 10-9 Round 10 Usyk 10-9 Round 11 Usyk 10-9 Round 12 Usyk 10-9 Usyk 118-110
I think 116-112 is the most favourable Joshua scorecard. I thought Joshua won 5, 6 and 8. Round 4 was close, possibly a Usyk round where AJ got credit for doing better than he did first 3. At least one of 5 and 6 was also close, I forget which. All the others were clear Usyk imo, including round 9 where RJJ spent the whole round saying Usyk was tiring while Usyk was dominating the round.
Usyk 8-3-1 with Joshua winning 5,6, and 8 with 10 even. I thought my scoring was generous towards Joshua.
Usyk: 1,2,3,7,9,10,11,12, AJ: 4,5,6,8 116 -112. I could see 116 -111 if I scored round 12 a 10 - 8 round. Also, the bell rang to end round 12 at 2: 55, robbing Usyk of the last five seconds. IMO, with those extra five seconds, there is at least a 50 - 50 chance that AJ gets stopped. Final point, I have seen Refs (especially in England) stop fights where a fighter was in the same shape or better, than AJ was in the final few seconds.
117-111 for me is the absolutely right score. 5,6,8 rounds for Joshua, and the rest was pretty much clear for Usyk(second round a bit closer, and that's it).
10-2 Usyk. Aj won 1 round where it would be hard to make an argument for Usyk, I don't know where the English judge got 115-113 scorecard from. Giving AJ 3 rounds is a huge stretch.
