Well, Usyk could've fought Wilder if Usyk actually won his quartefinal match to get to the semifinals of the Olympics. And Usyk could've fought Wilder if Usyk hadn't wasted the prime of his career in a lower division. Wilder didn't dry out and fight at cruiser. Don't know why Usyk chose to.

Wilder was in Usyk's division as an amateur. Wilder turned pro as a heavyweight just like Usyk.

Usyk knew where to find him.

Wilder's got a decent puncher's chance at minimum against anyone but the likely result is Fury demolishes him again. I had it close between Wilder and AJ resume-wise before this though, now there's no doubt in my mind that Wilder's is superior. Unfortunately he is 36 and is likely to retire after Fury beats him again, so we won't get to see him KO AJ (who himself will likely retire after Usyk beats him again).

 

Wilder still sucks. A guy who struggles with Molina and Szpilka.

Joshua is a good fighter with a ceiling.
