I personally think Rob Mc was a little heartbroken before the fight....

Someone needs to talk to him tbh...hes been talking a lot of rubbish for a while now. Still learning etc. Turning up talking about boxing winning and as long as they put a good fight on etc. Trying to be a boxing ambassador.

I genuinely think joshuas a good guy...but he needs someone to talk to him now. Rob needs to stop telling him what to do and let him learn for himself. They need to work out a gameplan and let him execute it. Instead of letting him box in training and picking his faults constantly. Sit down and tell him what you want...and let him get on with it.

I think the way they coach him leaves him thinking hes always learning...its ended up messing with his confidence. Seems they just let him box and then constantly nit pick from the sidelines. Its not helping him. Give him a gameplan...then let him execute it. Nothing wrong with some advice etc...but with what i,ve seen in training footage. Its seems constant advice. Most of thats needed cause he doesnt have a gameplan as such to follow.

Instead of go out and just box...we,ll tell you what to do as it unfolds...they need to start telling him to go out and set people up for that big right hand. Forget boxing opponents. Start showing him how to set people up with that right hand.

one Hearn has a job to look after AJ. Two the show would lose millions on the gate compared to UK etc.

You don’t honestly expect Hearn to throw his job as AJs promoter out the window because he’s got to be fair.

Of course not - as indicated and acknowledged by my comment about Hearn needing to ‘do his job’ as Joshua’s promoter. It’s a principle point and to rule out Ukraine altogether at this stage is a poor show.

AJ only won 1 round perhaps 2 out of 12. What does he think he can do in a rematch?

He has a coach telling him to keep his left hand up. Then telling him to double jab and throw right hand, then step to the side.

His corner was shouting brilliant all night as he was getting slowly and clinically pummelled into submission. Utterly clueless.

I think Usyk carried him in the last 3 rounds. I think this was probably with the rematch in mind, and to ensure that it actually happens.

Time to retire. Why does he need to fight on? The man has billions.

The rematch will be in 6 months so Yes they should hold it in one of the football stadiums where the temperature will be -5c or maybe hold it in one of the indoor arenas where they can fit 3000 people and charge them 1 potato and two onions for entry.

You are right, but I doubt Hearn was thinking those logistics. It's simply because he knows it'll give Usyk an advantage.

    Couldn’t agree more mate.
At the the end of the day he’s a 6’6” 240/250 pound heavyweight with big power.
They got him to engage in a boxing match with a master boxer, there was only going to be one outcome.
They should have had him on the front foot trying to pressurise Usyk stepping in behind a solid jab looking to unload the right hand, I mean they totally ignored Usyk’s body.
It still would have been difficult as Usyk is such a good mover but Usyk was never out of his comfort zone. Chisora gave him more problems because he managed to apply pressure.

I don't like his constant talking about learning on the job etc. I understand why fighters say it after a loss, but I think he takes that mentality into the rings. He must have known he would be down on the cards, but at no point did he let his hands go, it's like he accepts defeat and just thinks of it as a learning curve.

Too many hangers on doing what? Too much technical BS why?

Back to basics or just pick up a couple of big purses and retire. Just go in there and smash em to bits AJ it’s all you know, cos overthinking costs you milliseconds and by then you’re caught by the elite.
Usyk is class though love him to bits, in and out of the ring a true gentleman but sooooooo clever at what he does.

AJ legacy has gone in my opinion with this loss, nothing can bring him back as a true historic champ in my eyes.

AJ, is meekly throwing the David Price pawing jab, in fear of getting splattered. He’s damaged goods, and will be getting a good beat down in a rematch, that won’t go the distance.
