Too many keyboard warriors around.

I had predicted and look at any poll I thought Usyk would stop Anthony Joshua.

First off hats off to Anthony Joshua for giving Usyk a chance to show that he truly is an elite because Fury and Wilder would never do it.

Second of all when you degrade a fighter calling him overated like Joshua. You basically shoot yourself on the foot doing that and the win dosent look so good anymore.

Example saying joshua is an overated bodybuilder then making Usyk vs all time great heavies threads.

This was a fight between two Olympic gold medalist. This is boxing anything can happen.

 

Keyboard warriors = paying fans, the lifeblood of any sport

 

Negativity is the default human condition. Research indicates that 70% of what we think about is negative. No surprise its reflected here too.

Also, regarding the bolded, this is a fallacy. I believe Joshua is overrated, but I still believe he's "very good" and "one of the best in the world". Therefore, Usyk has beaten one of the very best in the world. But there are still bigger fish to fry. It's a very good achievement. Great, even. But there's at least one bigger challenge ahead and one that he is capable of overcoming. Usyk will not want to stop at Joshua.

What you're essentially saying is that if we refer to Joshua as overrated, we are undermining Usyk's achievement. That would only be the case if our intention is to say that Usyk has achieved the highest of feats, which he has not. But he is close, and that surely is a sound enough basis to show your appreciation for Usyk's achievement without going overboard in either direction.

Joshua has a pretty deep resume. Uysk is just light years ahead.

joshua is overrated, hes good but not great. his biggest weakness is hes mentally not cut out for boxing and onlyn gets away becuase hes huge, strong and athletic.
