Let me first say that i feel bad for Joshua, and the guy is so so much underrated on here.
He ain't f****** running from anyone out there, and always fight living rock solid opponents, and he is doing it REGULARLY.
Just like you can see in yhe UFC, when you are fighting inform opponents constantly, all different reach/height/style fighters you are going to stack loses.
In doesn't take a ATG fighter to beat you, but for you to have a bad day/tactics/gameplan, and your opponent to have the perfect camp and night, and it's all over for you.
Saying that i want to mention that for me Usyk was ATG material(CW obviously) long before that fight.

But if you look at the most exciting fight for the last 5-6 years, its all Joshua. He had absolutely stunner matches in that period. His fights never disappoint to deliver, whether he lose or win.

Wilder in his whole ****** career has fighting tomato cans, and bus drivers. Absolutely terrible representative of the HW division.

Fury has reach the top when he beat Klitschko and Wilder, but nothing before and after that. He run out scared 2 time from Klitschko rematch, go into oblivion, come back, drew and win over Wilder, but do nothing in between or after. Then the 3 rematch with Wilder should have been sorted/happen long ago.
Unless it's for big, big money, or a title fight(and even then) he just ain't doing anything.
He is all talk and that's it.

Joshua deserve all the credits in the world, whether he win or lose, he absolutely show no fear and that he is willing to fight the very best, and do it constantly, not 1 good opponent in 5 years time ....

And while i expected him to win and i thought he will do better, cause i still believe this is far from prime/best version of Usyk, he deserve all the respect for taking all this dangerous fight, and defending his belt, as a TRUE CHAMPION !!!
He is also willing to suffer big time in training and constantly looking for improvements/refining to his game.
The guy deserve nothing but respect, a true humble and respective champion. I'm sure he will be back stronger than before.
Saying all that i still believe Usyk(even past his prime) can do even better.
I just love both guys, and this was a hard fight to watch for me. Happy for Usyk, sad for AJ.

AJ is a good guy and he will pursue the rematch irrespective of whether this is necessarily the right thing for him. It’s because he is a stand up guy. Makes no excuses.

The hype machine that follows Joshua around doesn't really do him any favours.

He's a 7/10 heavyweight who can beat the **** out of most contenders but is always going to struggle against elite fighters.

No great shame in that. I just wish Sky, Dazn and the pundits would stop trying to make him out to be something he's not.

    I always do.

I don't think he is the unique talent that Usyk or Fury is, but he is very good, entertaining, his resume secures his place in history, and the division needs him, so let's hope he comes back 100%.

Yeah Joshua has at least 4-5 solid years infront of him. And we absolutely need to see him fight Fury and Wilder, no matter what happen in the rematch against Usyk.
I think if he lose again against Usyk, he should maybe get 1 back in fight and then aim for the loser of Fury - Wilder fight, and then to build on that.
If he wins he absolutely have to fight the winner of Fury - Wilder.
I mean like him or hate him, the next few years will be all about him again, and he will still deliver top level fights without any excuses at all.

I think he should drop the rematch and go straight for Wilder, assuming Fury wins their third fight. And then fight the winner of Fury/Usyk. He will make more money that way than going straight to Usyk and likely losing again, which will hurt his marketability.

Yeah, I just managed to watch the fight.. The way people are completely lambasting him on the Internet, I was expecting him to have been completely and utterly trashed. He lost wide, but you can lose wide in fairly competitive fights..

Wilder and Fury would have ducked Usyk, that's for sure. Fair play to AJ, still a fan. He'll bounce back.

He's a B+ level fighter because of his athleticism and size/power. But he's extremely limited skill-wise. He also struggles when guys actually fight back. His heart can be questioned because he was CLEARLY losing to Usyk and he never really showed any sign of urgency to go for a KO. Pretty dull. There is a difference between being the hammer and the nail.

Usyk put things in perspective. AJ is still a very good fighter.

The only fighters who are better than him are Fury and Usyk. AJ is still a top fighter.

    Round of applause.

He did well to win the two rounds he won and he did well to remain as incoherent as he normally does in the post-bout presser.

People are talking like Joshua is a complete bum. He's still a top three heavyweight.

Those 2 are definitely better than him. Wilder is 50-50.

Based on yesterday's fight I think somebody like Joyce is a nightmare for Joshua too.
