McCRACKen was awful. For AJ to try and outbox an experienced master boxer is crazy to me. AJ was getting humiliated and you have his trainer saying “BRILLIANT AJ”. AJ need to bring Lennox Lewis into his corner. Lewis would pass all the knowledge he learnt from Emanuel Steward down to AJ.

I was wondering why they'd mic'd up a fan when I heard "brilliant AJ brilliant" when Usyk was in the middle of clearly winning another round. I think they probably genuinely believed AJ just needed to see the end of round 12 to catch a decision, you can see why when Brit judge actually gave AJ the first 2 rounds lololol. The problem was the rounds were so wide you couldn't really mount a case for AJ in rounds 1-3, 7 and 9-12.

McCracken needs to go and has needed to go for a long time but Lewis is not the answer. They don’t like each other so it won’t work.

Let's be honest. AJ has no fluidity or backfoot game. Can't blame coaches for that - that's ingrained in you. AJ, as Bellew said, is the greatest athlete boxing has seen, and this has taken him this far. He simply isn't an elite boxer.

Exactly. He thinks before throwing a punch, whereas the likes of Sugar Ray, Iron Mike etc did it instinctively. Joshua is a bodybuilder who was manufactured to be an elite boxer, unfortunately things do not work this way. He will never EVER be an elite HW, it doesn't matter who trains him.

I do think he needs to go with someone else. I don't think think McCracken can have AJ fight a different way if required. AJ has to fight a different way than night against someone like usuyk who has such quick feet.

I'm amazed McCracken after 3 rounds could not see the issues on hand and suggest something else.

Even if Lewis is up for it, there's no guarantee he'd be effective in passing his knowledge on in a learnable way. Teaching is a skill in itself, having the knowledge is only part of the package required to be a good teacher and coach, you have to be able to communicate that knowledge and Lewis has never really come across as someone who was capable of that to me.
