For me in the rematch he needs to use his size and make it a brawl. I get he’s scared due to his chin. but he needs to do what fury did to wilder and throw him about when on the inside
I believe it all started after the WK fight, then when Ruiz stopped him, he has this I am too vulnerable mentality and he needs to get rid of it, nobody likes to get smacked in the face but it's fighting, he needs to be prepared for getting hit and not the other way around as it is making him too cautious.
McCracken is too torn with his other responsibilities, happy to pick up the cheque but not be in camp full time. Hence why Josh had to get in other coach. Too many cooks in the kitchen and too many hangers on, get rid of these friends and **** they offer nothing.
The bout only changed because Lewis caught Klitschko with a grazing punch that tore the skin. The punch essentially missed as intended and it grazed Klitschko's face. Without that punch, he was going to lose.
I think the nervous energy when he gets hits probably affects how his body reacts to the punches. I don't think the current AJ gets up from the right hands that he took from klitchko in their fight.
He does use a lot of nervous energy, this is true. I believe he would still get up whoever he is fighting, as that is his natural instinct to do so. I firmly believe that it was the Wlad fight where the doubts set in afterwards, he seems to have lost not his appetite for a fight, but the confidence in himself about simply just setting about his opponents for fear of his own vulnerabilities, it is this he needs to get back.
The corner advice was a mess. 10 different voices. All his mates wearing matching tracksuits shouting corner advice need getting rid of. McCracken can’t be happy with them always lingering around.
No that punch had nothing to do with with the fact that after round 3 Lennox basically decided to stand in front of Vitali and trade blow for blow rather than use his jab and control the distance.
Yes, but it was ultimately luck that tore Vitali's eye to shreds from a glancing blow. Lewis would have lost that otherwise.
I think he should leave him. The model is broken now, they have tried to turn him into a boxer and it hasn't worked instead they should focus on rebuilding his confidence and turning him back into the wrecking machine he once was. Emmanuel Steward would have been the perfect match at his stage. At this rate his legacy will be a trilogy against Andy Ruiz. Joshua is loyal though and likely to keep McKraken until the end.
AJ had to risk going in and being caught to knock usyk out He has to mentally get the ruiz fight out of his mind and risk it all by turning the rematch into a barroom brawl
A very very comfortable luxury lifestyle will enable that to happen very easily. I don’t blame AJ at all but he needs to seriously consider what he wants. Does he just wanna survive in these big fights or does he want to actually win? **** knows how much money he has, probably too much - I’d personally retire and enjoy it but I’m not in his shoes.
hard to get motivated ehen sitting on millions uysks as completed a boyhood dream joshua werent intrested in any kind of that dream as a kid just wealth and thats been achieved the mentality is way different
