Yeah if anything the Usyk performance where he showed good work rate and endurance suggests he might now have a better chance at not gassing out vs Joyce's work rate.

Last weekends loss changes nothing for me, I still favour Joshua, just as tall, almost as big, faster hands, faster feet, showed he can tough it out when required and not fold which will no doubt be required vs Joyce who won't stop coming.

Joshua weakness for me is he's always been too static, movers like Savon and Usyk both proved movement gave him problems. Joyce does move pretty well, but he isn't fast or as elusive as Usyk or Savon, if Takam and Dubois can get to him, so can Joshua. I see it as a competitive fight but Joshua wins a decision.

I could see Joyce just walking through Joshua's shots and repeatedly jabbing him hard in the face. He wouldn't like it.

Joyce is a problem for Joshua because he can do it non stop for 12 rounds.

Joyce will make a much better fight of it with usyk than AJ.

Bring it on , it's a fight I'd love to see.

Why is that? Joyce is an EVEN MORE static target, and he's ridiculously slow in pretty much every department.

I don't see anything other than an Usyk UD here. He wont outpoint Usyk and he wont KO him either.

Usyk will dance around him all night.

Joe Joyce might have the most fitting nickname in boxing right now. He's everything I would expect someone named Juggernaut to be. Big, relentless, durable, high stamina, really strong. But slow, plodding, linear, immobile, not particularly cerebral.

    Why?
Because joyce isn't scared to get hit like aj is, joyce is ten fold tougher than aj, that is why!

Because Joyce is constantly pressing forward throwing punches with almost reckless abandon. Joshua was trying to be too clean with his work, only throwing punches when he felt sure he could land them, and he hardly threw anything as a result. Joyce will be throwing junk punches in bunches while Usyk is popping him in the face, and while a bunch of those shots will miss a number will land, more than Joshua managed.

I expect Usyk to outpoint him but he's going to be hit and roughed up a lot more and the rounds are going to be a lot harder to score. And given how easily Usyk marks up he's going to look like he's been in a car crash by the time of the post-fight press conference.

Joyce is surprisingly cerebral. Don't sleep on his boxing iq.

    Seriously guys

If Saturdays fight was razor close Usyk would have gotten more credit. Just because Usyk gave AJ a boxing lesson... AJs trash.

If AJ fought the same fight and Usyk fought at a lower level but still just edged AJ on points everyone would say how good a boxer Joshua is.

This would be the worst possible matchup for Joyce. Can you imagine how slow Joyce would look in that fight?

I think he'd land less than AJ.

If you're slow but never take a backward step, never stop throwing, and don't care how often you get hit then you're going to land sooner or later. Usyk will definitely have his hands full here.
