Eddie Hearn has called him for a potential new trainer for aj … Tim also told me Eddie Hearn has contacted Stacey mkinnley as also perhaps a new trainer for aj . … Spoon also said Joshua and Usyk looked like amateurs Saturday nite ( not sure if I agree with his statement especially on Usyk )
That’s a dumb move, AJ doesn’t need a new trainer, he just doesn’t have the style to compete with Usyk, not much you can do about that
Spoon is full of **** but I love the guy, and he would be a great trainer for Joshua. POST SCRIPT: Still won't beat Usyk, though.
I've met Mr Witherspoon about 10 years ago at an amateur event in the U.K. He was giving out medals and trophies, he looked great, didn't look like he'd aged really. Anyway, he was amazing with the young amateurs and I had a chat with him and he one of the nicest fighters I have ever met, he was so polite and very funny.. top man. Anyway, with respect this has to be a joke right?
He was an extremely talented boxer-puncher who liked cocaine and junk food, and practically threw at least one big fight over payment issues. A lot of people at the time thought he beat Holmes.
I loved Witherspoon in the 80's. I always thought Don King wanted him out the way in the heavyweight tourney to protect a young mike tyson. Bonecrusher bowling him over in 1 round never sat right with me
Joshua should link up w/ Roach. Roach will fix his arm punches and improve his offense. There is NO REASON for Joshua not being able to power through, punish, and stop a smaller fighter.
Him saying usyk looked like an amateur on saturday is one of the stupidest things ive heard in some time, he sounds jealous.
Amateurish? Please. Tell Wither to get over Chazz's embarrassing quit job against Usyk, the best boxer on the planet. Enjoy the music in this video, which is on a level beyond Wither's comprehension and appreciation, much like Usyk. This content is protected
You're a Pac fan, NO NO NO, I'm not starting that crap again we can let it go now, and may Pacquaio enjoy his well earned retirement and enjoy his legendary status. Completely different fighters but Pac was "the smaller man" in many of his fights.. So you know what a southpaw stance, speed, accuracy, footwork, movement does.. Pac had greater power at his peak than Usyk does but you know what I mean. That is a list of attributes that is very difficult to beat, especially if the fighter with all those attributes are top level. I think it isn't just as simple "bigger man should push through and punish him". Wouldn't you agree?
