not necessarily. Tyson's mentality was both a strength and a weakness. Both Usyk and Joshua have the ability to win. Usyk has the skill set and Joshua has enough power to bother and even defeat Tyson if he took a go out on your shield approach. This would result in either ko'ing Tyson or being ko'd by Tyson. Usyk has the skill set and a stronger mental set than both Tyson and Joshua. In an interview long ago...sorry can't remember the name of the guy...(whoops) said that if Holyfield ever fights Tyson he would beat Tyson because Tyson is a bully and Holyfield had no fear of him.

Prime Mike would kill bodybuilder in the ring. Bodybuilder got stunned 6-7 times because of Usyk's punches. Mike would beat him by brutal KO.

Usyk is different story. He could outbox Mike and win by UD. Otherwise, Mike could catch him with his perfect peek-a-boo style and knockout him.

in heavyweight boxing...we are always talking about probabilities. One punch can change most fights. Joshua has enough power to ko Tyson. Usyk has the skill set. It is about probabilities. Unfortunately, we are in the what if they fought realm. I like to think of these imaginary match ups...but we will never know. that is one thing that makes them so attractive.

Tyson`s counters would be too much for AJ and he was far too quick as Usyk just proved, He also had a fantastic body attack and Usyk got to AJ`s body with a number of solid shots.

    Tyson beats both.

In order to beat Usyk you need to be mobile and go after him. Mike Tyson is literally the worst possible opponent for Usyk.

    Quick, good chin, great power.

Tyson KO's Joshua in 1-2 rounds

    KO's Usyk in 3.

I don't see Usyk standing on his feet for 12 rounds in this one. Look what Chisora managed to do to Usyk at points, and imagine it's Tyson ramming Usyk into the ropes...

I agree except Tyson wouldn`t KO AJ in two rounds, Joshua is far bigger and better than any fighter Tyson finished in two rounds, there was some giant guy Mike finished in one round but that fighter was nowhere near as good as AJ, and AJ wouldn`t stand toe to toe with Mike the way Tubbs did plus he hits far harder than Tubbs did and is better than Bruno was who managed to get past the second round twice v Tyson.

...plenty of people stood upto Tyson and still lost to him. Mitch Green, Tucker, Bonecrusher, Tillis, Ruddock all refused to be bullied but still smashed over the fight.

To beat Tyson you had to absolutely break him down and whoop him badly. Evans Fields did that (headbutting helped too) and Lewis got to him when he was shot.

I agree because degenerates like Mike are more suitable to be punched in the face for a living.

Douglas ingited this overrated boxer like Christmas tree.:p:D

This is because till 1988 th Mike was damn hard working diligent man, not only very talented for boxing and physically gifted specimen.

Joshua is too static as a target and his punch resistance is not amazing. Doesn't matter what plan AJ has, he doesn't hug well, and wont be able to defend himself.

I see it going similar to Tyson vs Bruno. Maybe AJ could hold on for 3-4 rounds but that's as far as it gets.

Yes prime Iron Mike knocks both out but then again prime Iron Mike beats and stops most.
