Wlad had heavy hands and excellent technique. He was also well rounded in the sense he could punch short or long, leading or on the counter, with both hands with monstrous power.

Wlad is in the top 3 of power, left hook, jab, and right cross.

Shame we never really saw him throw an uppercut. Still, his power was atomic.

Wlads power and boxing skills are very impressive but he won't get due credit as goat because he looks like mayo.

"omg hes boring, division was weak" Also the same people say "floyd is tbe" lmao

Some of the guys Wlad didn't knock out: Bigfoot Martin, Biko Botowamungu, Ross Puritty, Corrie Sanders, DaVarryl Willamson, Sultan Ibragimov, David Haye, Mariusz Wach, Bryant Jennings, Tyson Fury

All the guys Wilder didn't knock out: Tyson Fury (but dropped Fury twice and is fighting him again in 10 days)

Your question is more or less: is Vlad better than Wilder?

    Sounds good.

But i bet with you Wilder would most probably also fail in KO Sanders, Ibragimov, Haye and Wach.

Sanders from 2003 would most probably KO Wilder in 1-2 rounds, the first counter would send Deontay to the canvas, even worser what Fury did to him.

Ibragimov was a slick southpaw who fought to survive, not to win. Wlad couldnt KO him having 2 powerfull hands, Wilder has just 1.

Wach was a granite chin and most probably the best HW chin in the last 20 years. Close to a level of a prime Ray Mercer or even near George Chuvalo or Oliver McCall.

And Haye was also to slick for Wilder and fought like Ibra only to survive.

Wilder has had seven fights with southpaws. He knocked them all out. One got carried out of the ring on a stretcher and was never the same again (yet that guy who got carried out still beat Wach afterward. LOL)

The best punch against a southpaw is a lead right hand.

So, actually, the last person a southpaw wants to fight is Deontay Wilder.

Yes Wilder has a very powerful 'killzone' in his punches where push and tap meets in a 'snap' but good boxers can either step inside to drain the snap- or step back - riding the shot draining the force behind it.

Wlads punches had a more solid "'follow thru'

Wilders power is more impressive cause he knocks guys out despite his poor punching technique.

I saw it. Each time, I understood why he preferred to keep it in mothballs. The Klitschko uppercut was an exploitable thing.

Its pretty insulting to compare an ATG like Wlad to a semi decent puncher that is overhyped with a padded record like Wilder.

Wlad was definitely far more heavy handed. A lot of the guys who sparred or fought him said he was the hardest puncher they ever faced. I remember Haye saying his jab was heavier than any right hand he’d been hit with which is crazy.

Wlad hits harder due to the simple fact that he's fought better competition

Absolut BS. Wilder has probably the second best chin in the hw champs. He got beaten up so badly against ortiz and fury bit didnt get koed.
