Disagree. I get the feeling he believes a lot of his own bull**** about this being a learning experience and that he'll come back stronger. I don't see how he beats Usyk though, except by just judge favoritism. I don't know, maybe he could do it by being hyper aggressive, but his trend has been towards more cautious, not less.
I'll have a laugh at AJ and Hearn because they deserve it. But I don't think AJ is completely finished simply because the division is rather average. Whyte is number 1 with the WBC FFS, ranked in many people's top 5, so if the belts fragment again AJ could easily pick up a version.. Hearn will go nuts out for AJ Vs Charles Martin II for the vacant WBA title while screaming "repeat or revenge" for months and conning casuals out of PPV monies.
AJ's finest moment was Klitschko. Other than that he was beating bums, and getting gifs and barely winning fights he should have cruised through.
He keeps saying the same **** every time he loses. Learning curve my ass. You just ain’t talented enough Joshua.
Bums? If that's the case then every single other fighter in the division can be criticized in the exact same way. Besides Wladmir and Wilder, Fury has fought no one worth mentioning. Besides beating Ortiz, Wilder has fought no one worth mentioning either. Usyk - Besides AJ, has beaten no one worht mentioning at heavyweight. If you're going to call AJ's resume ****, then everyone elses in the division is pretty **** as well.
Oh yeah, because a boxer is just gonna say "I am not good enough, I should learn my place and retire". LOL. Joshua comes out and admits defeat and claims he has something to learn, which is a perfectly reasonable thing to say... but people still give him ****. You AJ haters will never be satisfied until he's having a mental breakdown and believing his entire career was a sham. With all the people in this division who are ****s who cannot take a loss, I find it amusing how people somehow think they find massive flaws in AJ's character in comparison to others. It's like whenever there's someone that's praised by others, some people just HAVE to try and drag them down into the ****. AJ is as humble as you can expect a fighter to be. He's probably vain, but is that really a criticism towards a ****ing fighter? They're all egotistical!
It is funny to read this. Even just the same Povetkin, yeah, he was not pro boxing champ. Automatically must be bum for sure. Povetkin was am boxing and kickboxing superstar like Usyk was am boxing superstar. This in first line. For second line: touted as HW World Title challenger and up and coming prospect 32 y.o 252 lbs Whyte had been ignited like a Christmas tree by 40 years 11 months old 224 lbs Uncle Povetkin's ghost pre covid version. I do not agree that A.J had fought only bums, it is crazy dumb argument. While yeah, his resume is full with over the hill big names on it etc fun in his backyard. Even Olympic medal he " won " in backyard not won IRL.
The Usyk rematch will tell the story. If he goes another route, then I do think he is finished. Needs to go back to that old style of seek and destroy. It didn't work against Ruiz, because he's very durable. I don't think that's the case with Usyk.
