Joshua easily outpointed Parker. Parker was lucky to get a decision vs Chisora ffss.

    Not in 6 months. Sorry

He should wait for winner of Usyk vs Fury/wilder and fight for undisputed. Until then he can work on his stamina and gameplan

Completely agree no boxer is unbeatable and Joshua did have Usyk hurt. I want Joshua to win but have to be honest with myself.

Usyk has so much experience and probably has different approaches himself to the rematch. He doesn't have to go for a points finish he could try to get Joshua out of there early and let's be frank, he was the one who came closer to the KO in the first fight.

Can you tell me which round was it ? Because I've seen Usyk hurt AJ but not other way round.

Usyk had poker face whole fight.

Watch rounds 5-8. Usyk was shook by some of those straight rights. Usyk is good as managing rounds where he's not as effective.

Usyk lost 3 of 4 of the middle rounds, and he looked temporarily stunned at times, but Joshua did not follow up.

Usyk took a few but never lost a step unlike Joshua who was rocked several times and dazed and confused on the ropes at the end. You watch him on the stool and he's back in the Garden staring like he's just been shot.

I only gave Joshua 5 and 6 and maybe 8 if I'm being generous. Horrible performance by the community shopper.

Looking at this as opposed to say Holyfield vs. Cooper or Cooper vs. Mercer as random examples, it just looks so mucv more restrained.
Usyk deserves much credit. He is fighting at capacity & really tough.
But I wonder how he would do against someone more willing to brawl with athleticism like Evander...
Or a slightly lesser swarmers like Cooper & Mercer-when focused & sober.

Guys willing to trade more, soaking up punishment to get the stoppage.
In some cases big guys today rely too much on size & physical advantages.
Who thinks the three men above-when around their peak-would finish Usyk?

I don't know why anybody would criticise Usyk for looking marginally less sharp after the opening rounds. Of course he would. Having a great gas tank doesn't mean you're entirely immune to fatigue. But he did spend twelve rounds moving and working incessantly against a dangerous opponent and finished looking like he could do 15.

One thing people seem to be overlooking in Usyk's performance though is: ring rust.
He only had one decent fight in three years before that and jumped straight into the biggest fight of his career and looked better than he ever has. For most, even a year of ring rust is considered a problem.
I mean - Hearn actually suggested that Joshua hadn't been active enough when he fought Pulev less than a year ago, and Ruiz twice in 2019.

Watched the fight 3 times by now. I looks closer to 10-2 than It is to 8-4. Joshua can definetly make some adjustments and do better in the rematch. But unlike the situation with Ruiz, this time he’s up against an opponent who’s just as dedicated and has far superior ring IQ. For every 2 adjusments Joshua makes, Usyk will make 5.

One thing the OP is right about is that Usyk’s ability to step up his game in the championship rounds has just as much to do with his pacing himself as It is to do with his engine.

I think that was a great OP by Vegan Beast. I had the score 9-3 to Usyk but I can see 8-4. And the rounds weren't that hugely wide, most of them.

What I think put the stamp on the fight is the rounds where Usyk chose to put his foot on the gas he won at a canter. That sort of thing tends to colour a fight.

Sorry but you are bias here. Usyk was never hurt. But you know what? Joshua was at 3rd and then in the 12 was on the verge of being taken out. And the most important is that AJ took a very serioua beating. It was quite obvious after the end bell.
As far as Uayk being off in some rounds. Everyone is taken a round or two off. But its how you do it. And Usyk alao do it to change the pace of a fight usually., and your opponent just cant reapond and his energy is gone. Aj fall for it, and he was a meat in the laat 4 round.
Usyk has the best stamina by far, but hw is 4 months of his 35 birthday. He is past his prime and im saying this for long time.
Against Hunter in the last 3 rounds, Usyk throws 300 punches and landed half of them. Did you understand what stamina you had you have to do this???
Joshoa dont throw/land that much for a whole fight.
And again dont look at compubox its a pure s***. Its corrupt and inaccurate as hell.
And no AJ did not won more than 3 rounds. 5,6 and the 8.
Im on the phone so sry for mistakes.
