This fight is incredibly interesting. Far better than Franklin, Arreola and Martin who we thought would be Whyte's next victim. I believe it will potentially be even more dramatic than Whyte vs Povetkin. Wallin has the size advantage over Whyte and is quicker and arguably more technical boxer. I sense this fight is going to be dramatic and Whyte will have to be on his game to win this one. A big risk to his mandatory, but if he cannot beat Wallin he wont beat AJ/WILDER/USYK/FURY. I sense Whyte will be outboxed for times in this fight, but I think he will catch Wallin at some point with a strong left hand and put him down, and that will either finish him or win the fight for dillian on points.
ALL IN WALLIN Wallin outboxes him and wins by decision. He's a southpaw, a better boxer, has a better chin, and unlike a lot of previous Whyte opponents, he won't be at a significant size/strength disadvantage to Whyte. Meaning that Whyte won't be able to bully him in the clinch and make it a wrestling match like he did to Parker
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Otto wallin....the fact fury is number 1 and wallin came the closest to beating him speaks volumes. Either that or fury had a bad night and he had a great night but I guess we'll find out against Whyte. Looking forward to this fight cse it's nice to see a possible contender in otto the more the better.
Wallin would outbox him, but will he KO him ? I don't know, but I want him to KO Whyte and make him cry
They look similar in height but Whyte is a big lump and weighs more. It's like saying Callum Smith has a size advantage over Andy Ruiz because he's an inch taller with longer reach.
I don't think much of Wallin. But, quite frankly, I don't think much of Whyte either. Wallin by close UD in a messy affair.
People are overrating how good Wallin is based off the Fury fight. Wallin doesn't have the power to trouble Whyte and I expect Whyte to win a in fairly wide points victory.
Well he did also dominate Breazeale on the cards. Showed some decent skill. But I agree, Whyte by decision. I think the rounds will be close, but I think Whyte will score a knockdown at some point Whyte by MD.
Hope he does, because I want to see Whyte vs Fury or Wilder. The press conferences will be a sight to behold.
Whyte will probably scrape by in another, niggly, ugly performance which are his trademark. Wallin isn't a puncher and outpointing Breazeale is nothing of note. So we have a good performance in defeat against Fury which might be the best of his career and an OK win against a guy who we now know is basically a gate keeper. The southpaw element might make him difficult for Whyte. Whyte went life and death with another Gate keeper in Del Boy in the first fight but sparked him 2nd time around. A close win over Parker is a decent enough win and then beating Rivas on paper also decent. Just think Whyte probably offers more. He can be hit and hurt but he tends to find a way through unless you have a big punch to take him out with and Wallin doesn't have it.
