I love Larry but this isn't an ideal match up for him. Close decision either way. Controversial decision. possibly decided simply by where its held and who's doing the judging.

SD draw just to be safe

We should of course wait and see how is career turns put, but so far he has done little wrong. Of course, his pro record is so limited compared to the top ATGs that he could retire undefeated and it still would be hard to say much for very certain.

What we're looking at is a great era of HW boxing. Maybe the greatest era of all time tbh

I went with Holmes by a decision but it would be a very hard fight. Usyk is no Joke and in truth is more skilled than most or all of Larry’s title challengers

I honestly think people are getting very carried away with Usyks win over Joshua. I believe history will show Joshua to be a second rate Champ ( I already have )
Holmes takes him and it wouldn't be all that difficult IMO

Not too difficult ? Holmes struggled with southpaws. Let alone a elite southpaw like Usyk, this would be a tough one

Your talking about Holmes when he was still in the amateur ranks. Get a grip man

That doesn't matter because he never fought any southpaws in the pros, any that i know of anyway. If he didn't struggle with them then i see your point but he did. He said it himself

I agree Holmes would win, but prime Holmes was clearly lighter than Usyk, ~ 209, depending upon which fight you use.
He just did not build the muscle Usyk did.

The last time Holmes fought a southpaw, he got stopped in one round.

While Holmes at his best might be able to squeak out a decision, he also was stopped in one round when he fought southpaw Nick Wells and hell would freeze over before Larry would agree to fight someone like Usyk.

Most of the guys you named were never known for their durability.

I was gonna bring up how the size difference isn't as big as a normal cruiser vs heavyweight

Going on what little one has seen of Usyk at heavyweight, this might be a very good match-up.
It would have been interesting to see Larry deal with a southpaw (I can't think that he met one in the pros) but I don't factor the southpaw question in too heavily. It's just an unknown, for which no measure of 'for' or 'against' can really be applied.
I'd bet on Larry by decision, just by virtue of his ability to campaign over the distance and find formulas to win. That, and I very much doubt he'd simply play into Usyk's hands (a la Joshua).

If you are gonna put so little effort into a fragment criticism of a much larger point, then I will match your effort. Not even the point...good day.
