Fury best one of the longest reigning champions of the last 50 years. Usyk beat a suspect champion who hasn’t really proven himself and gets beat when there’s adversity. Not to say that what Usyk accomplished is not a great thing because it is. He has to beat AJ again and the winner of Wilder/ Fury then we can start the bigger talk.
Usyk beating the number 2 heavyweight in his 3rd fight at said weight class? Imo more impressive than Fury's win (but that's still a huge win, so not taking anything away from Fury here).
not hating on him, just saying that he is overrated , big time. Now Usyk is getting overrated . He did not maul AJ , he outboxed him 9-3 , or 8-4. Fury on the other hand was juiced up and still looked pathetic vs old Wlad and even more pathetic after . Who runs from a rematch with old man? Yea Wilder sucks that’s why I am expecting Fury to stop him again and hope he will do it in style.
If you compare Fury, Aj, wilder who do you think was the more overrated? Definitely not fury, Wilder and Aj were always overated Fury was always questioned even now people are questioning fury but he always pull through. I think it's the opposite Fury is underrated.
underrated ? He has a W over old wlad and bum wilder. And then I remember him going life and death with atg wallin lol. You can’t underrate such a poor resume. He maybe the best of all 4 , but I want to see him actually fight and fight like he did against wilder in their second fight.
Wlad was a 22 win streak, 18 consecutive title defence top 5 ATG defending in Germany against a 27 year old Fury, who prior to that got his best wins against top 10 ATG cruiser Steve Cunningham on the road and Derek Chisora. AJ was a 2 win streak, 1 consecutive defence vulnerable champion defending in Britain against a 35 year old Usyk, who prior to that had 335 wins in 350 amateur bouts, gold medals in the World Championships and Olympics, cleaned out the WSB (including Joe Joyce and AJ-conquerors Majidov and Nistor) cleaned out the entire cruiserweight division (including top 2 ATG cruiser Briedis) exclusively on the road and had also beaten Derek Chisora in Britain. The parallels are strong but it's not close in absolute terms: 1 year prior to Fury, Wlad iced prime Kubrat Pulev in half the time and with fewer than half as many punches thrown as AJ needed to stop 39.5 year old, 13 months inactive, badly faded Pulev, 1 year prior to Usyk. P4P however Usyk has the better win as no cruiser in history had conclusively beaten an elite SHW before, much less in their backyard. Usyk had the wealth of experience and proven track record he needed to school and batter AJ. With Fury it was far more doubtful at the time, which is why Fury was 4/1 to beat Wlad while Usyk was 5/2 to beat AJ. Fury also absorbed fewer than half as many punches against Wlad as Usyk absorbed against AJ, which may be "boring" but it's very good for longevity and he won 10-2 by consensus; a slightly more dominant scoreline than Usyk won by in the eyes of most. AJ is Wlad without the punching power, offensive/defensive skill, experience or athleticism (as proven by 41 year old, 17 month inactive, dethroned Wlad’s war in Britain with 27.5 year old, active, 18-0 “Olympic gold medallist” AJ, who Wlad would have KO’d in the 6th round if he had more killer instinct).
how old are you idiot? 16 ? What does his flabbyness got to do with steroids? You can be juicing and look like TF. He was caught using Nandrolone in 2015.
it was from wild boar it was not intentional wlad requested heavy testing and fury passed every single test! fury is all natty
Two fights ago Joshua got sparked by a plum pudding who ate himself into a food coma for the rematch… WK was a dominant long raining champion.. old yes but its still a great victory for Fury beating a future Hall of Famer and taking all his belts in Germany.. Joshua might be mentally broken. It was a great victory for OU but historically I think fury's win is probably more significant. On the other hand though, two fights at heavyweight in three years and the CW goes and does that to Joshua .. that was damn impressive too.. both excellent wins to be honest
Nandrolone from wild boar? Hahaha. I see Fury fans are on par with wilder fans when it comes to making excuses .
I,d go usyks win over joshua. Both impressive. Furys was huge...and a bigger surprise...but tbf klitchko was almost ready to be taking out sooner or later. Still impressive especially away from home. Only really saying usyk because hes coming up from cruiserweight...very hard thing to do kn my book. Away from home at 34 years old. Impressive considering he relies on a high output style. Think wlad was the harder opponent to beat but usyks win over joshua a bigger achievement due to all the advantages he was giving away.
Why do you need complex steroid testing if you can just look at somebody and tell if they are on steroids or not lol
