Vitali is overrated

You can discredit any fighter you don't like by saying the competition was no good. It's a weak argument.

Why not be honest and admit you hate Vitali, and then tell us the REAL reason why. Maybe some tall man stole your wife?

 

Vitali, liston, dempsey, tyson, ali, lewis, louis and holmes are the best heavyweights and would give each other problems.

 

What stood out to me about Vitali other then his size, was his good jab. He used it with precision, and when followed by the straight right was a scary combination that carried alot of power behind it. On a technical level he was great, but as others have said he dominated in a weak era. H2h though hes a monster and id favor him over anyone in this current era.

 

You can't exchange blows with an ATG like Lewis with half your face literally torn to shreds and keep coming if you're "overrated".
Keep that nonsense to yourself.

 

Resume didn't show it but he was a beast till his body gave out.

 

He doesn't hate Vitali to be real. He favors Vitali to beat one of his favorite fighters Anthony Joshua. I think Vitali is top 10 H2H but i think saying he's #1 or arguably even #2 H2H like some people say about Vitali is kinda overrating him. He'd beat everyone in this era though. A one armed 42 year old Vitali schooled prime Chisora so he was definitely a monster in his prime

 

I think he is properly rated. A hall of famer with ATG potential that never materialized. He is just interesting to think about in H2H matches, but not in ATG conversations.

He was great, better than the quality of his resume suggests. Coming back after 4 year retirement and smashing Sam Peter to bits without taking 1 punch was impressive. Only lost a small handful of rounds. Most of the greats struggled or even lost to journeyman level opposition at some point in their careers.

 

Vitali is overrated Due to a weak resume just like Ali. Holmes etc. They also fought small plodders.
