I didn't click the link but he might be right. If AJ was a De La Hoya's fighter, he would somehow fix the judges cards like he did twice for Canelo vs Golovkin.
Nah hearn and the team made Ajs career, they made a pumped up body builder with 0 personality sell out stadiums that is a win. Stay humble yo
Yes I'm sure Frank Warren would of done a better job promoting AJ as he filled out the Copper box lol. Ask Dubois what a great job he's doing making him a star and filling out stadiums. Or maybe AJ should of gone to the US, you know that thriving heavyweight scene with notable heavies at the time like Wilder and.......(insert crickets chirping) Hearn was the obvious choice as promoter for AJ, he was the biggest promoter in the UK at the time. AJ's first fight was at the O2 and his 6th fight was at Wembley on the Froch/Groves 2 under card. Hearn gave AJ a big platform to start his pro career and Hearn has also given AJ far more control over his career than most promoters would allow. Such as how the revenue from his fights is paid toe AJ's company and not to Hearn and Hearn is then given his cut. Hearn works for AJ not the other way round, you think Warren or De La Hoya would allow such an arrangement? I highly doubt it.
Hearn just wants the biggest fights in stadiums or he wants to fellate Canelo enough to retain him. He has forgotten how to build up fighters into becoming household/big names like he did with lots domestic fighters. This could give Sky the ammunition they need to build up domestic talent while DAZN put all their eggs into the Canelo basket.
If he didn't fight Usyk it would be a blatant duck They didn't want to...but their hand was forced Holding lots of belts comes with responsibility such as paying sanctioning fees and fighting mandatories.
I think E-Hearn and Robert McCracken have done a rather good job with AJ. The most popular boxer in Britain by a wide margin, sells out 60,000-90,000 seater stadiums regularly, WBA, IBF and WBO unified champion, 2 x world HW champion, and a reputed net worth of £115 million. Parker 78,000 Takam 75,000 Povetkin 80,000 + Wlad 90,000 Usyk 67,000
Hearn built bodybuilder's career. He gave bodybuilder old, shot and way past-prime opponents. De La Hoya should take his medicines.

Hearn made a good fighter with a glass chin millionaire and world champion. He didn't ruin anything. On the contrary.
I agree. His team has done a good job. AJ loses to a sensational fighter and now AJ is some mismanaged bum. Fans, once again, showing why we are boxing worst enemy. We complain if the best don't fight the best. We complain when a top guy loses to another top guy. From a fighters perspective, it's not worth fighting the best.
