That's a fight I'd LOVE to see. A fight for 140 pound supremacy to prove once and for all who is the best fighter in the world 140 pounds and below. It needs to happen. What a fight. One thing is for sure, this would be a banger. A southpaw vs orthodox mash up. Only this time its mano a mano. Both men will bring it from the opening bell. As for Lopez Loma. I wouldnt mind seeing it again at all. But I have far less interest since it's already happened and Loma surrendered the first 6 rounds. I do think Lopez stops Taylor. But you never know for sure.
Of course you are, because you know Loma will beat Fima's ass, and you've deluded yourself into believing he actually has a chance against Taylor.... which he doesn't.
Loma needs to be given his chance at revenge. Otherwise it is disgraceful on part of the Lopezs, though not surprising.
I want both. Theres sort of unfinished buisness fimo needs to take care of with Loma, and his body is big enough that he can move up to the 140 division comftorably to fight Taylor for his belts. No catch weight needed.
Prograis is more deserving of a rematch than Loma is. One fighter fought like a man and the other had to go to lost and found to retrieve his balls halfway through the fight.
So, I guess he just decided to have shoulder surgery after the match for ****s and giggles right? Does reality ever penetrate that thick skull of yours once you've got your mind set on a narrative? How about he was taking it easy for the first six rounds because he didn't want to blow his shoulder out and lose by TKO, and waited to see if he could close strong and possibly win by stoppage. Also, go back and watch the first six rounds they're not quite as one-sided as you thought they were. You actually have to land punches to win rounds, very few of Lopez's landed clean.
The best fighter at 140lbs and below has already been established when Josh Taylor became an undisputed champion.
Does he punch harder? Taylor has stopped and dropped a higher level of fighter and bigger ones than Teo ever has.
