De La Hoya says Hearn ruined Joshua`s career!

Yea, Hearn really screwed up Joshua's career. He only earned 9 figures under his banner.

 

I bet AJ looks at all the bangers and mash in the old tommy tank account and thinks "Fam I've been screwed".

 

Hearn did a good job.

ODLH is now just chiming in as AJ has been used as a punching bag.

 

Cliff notes -

1. The fight went to a decision, Hearn could/should have paid off the judges. Irresponsible management.
2. More clen should have been cycled prior to the fight. Joshua would have had a better chance if his stamina improved tenfold. Hearn is a sucker for not taking advantage of Canelo's new clen use laws - take all you need and then claim you had beef in Mexico. Despicable management.
3. Hearn should have done more coke

 

You could say he's ruined AJ as the chump started believing his own hype.. bit like Shadow...

 

Joshua under Hearn has earned far more than his talent level would otherwise suggest.

 

Hearns manage AJ’s career fine. DLH should be more concern with what he has left in his stable. He still sour over losing Canelo to Herns.

 

Hearn's done a pretty good job, I think. AJ has lost a couple of fights, but has a pretty good resume overall and is one of the biggest stars in the game.
No-one has a divine right to win and when you're mixing in world class against the best out there, there's always a possibility of losing.

In both his losses, AJ was beaten clearly by better men on the night in Ruiz I and Usyk I. Neither were particularly close. Even great fighters lose so it's unrealistic to think a boxer can never lose. We shall see in the Usyk rematch what AJ has learned and improved upon.

 

Most fighters would have just taken the duck. Let him have the WBO belt. If he's WBO champion Joshua wouldn't have to fight him and he'd still keep most of the belts.

 

Spot on. As much as I dislike Joshua at times, he deserves credit for his calibre of opponents. He's never avoided a fighter, even when it's very likely he could lose - Wlad, Parker, Ruiz 2, Usyk as standouts.

People make a hiss and a roar about the likes of Ortiz for being 'avoided'. Ortiz avoided a fight with Whyte, even though he would get the biggest payday of his career. Ortiz also avoided Joshua for the biggest payday of his career. Wilder ducked the Whyte fight, even though it would be the biggest payday of his career...and let's not even entertain the laughable negotiations for Joshua/Wilder.

How many 'elite' fighters actually fight those that should be put in front of them?

 

Amateur boxing ain't the professionals. McCracken is a good amateur coach. But he's built his professional career on Carl Froch's chin and AJ just doesn't have one.

There's at least a couple of things wrong with Joshua that McCracken should have seen and hasn't. Number one being that he's gun-shy after Klitschko.

Joshua's an Olympic Gold Medalist. I'd say his earnings are commensurate with his talent level. Joshua is better than at least 90% of boxers in the heavyweight division.

 

Hearn done a great job with AJ, his popularity and audience far exceeds what his ability warrants. I wonder how Oscars’ training for the Canelo fight is going?

 

If anything, Hearn has shown the blueprint on how it's done and how to cash in on Olympic success.

 

Its highly doubtful Joshua can beat Wilder. Fury would own him. So add the losses to Ruiz(why no rematch) and Usyk and it doesn't look good for 90%. Toss in Joyce.
