How did Fury's punching power change so drastically?

Thought this would be a good thread right before the trilogy.

What exactly did Fury do to his technique to absolute decimate Wilder in the rematch?

I reviewed both fights and saw Fury landed some devastating punches on Wilder in the first fight and it didn't do anything. For example, right before the second knockdown in the 12th, Fury landed a right bomb on the front foot knocking the sweat off Wilder's head. It didn't even phase Wilder in the slightest.

    What did Fury do differently?

Edit: No, I'm not accusing Fury of loading his gloves.

Started moving forwards instead of laterally or backwards

Fury doesn't knock people out, he squeezes the life out of them then licks them.

    Usyk does the same

By turning his punches over more and sitting his weight on his shots everytime he does. That's pretty much it.

He used to slap alot more and liked to keep a distance as shown in the Klitschko fight and the first Wilder fight and when he got on the inside he still slapped alot like in the Wallin fight. That's why he was never really had notable power

Stopped being a pure technical boxer starting actually punching....also he didnt straight up ko wilder it was a tko so i would say he he is hitting harder but he aint tyson.

Having said that if a 270 pound dude hits you at the right time and right place you can get sparked or hurt.

Tyson Fury is currently the most powerful being in the universe.

A fight between prime Tyson Fury and prime Lennox Lewis would shake the earth to it's core.

Fury already has a few one punch KOs in his career. He is 202 cm and 120 kg. He can punch very hard if he wants. He one shotted Wilder with one body shot.

Basic physics of a huge guy sitting down on his punches more.

Also, shouldn't overrate his power, he didn't conclusively KO Wilder. I think he caught Wilder around the ear and he was struggling for equilibrium, similar to AJ in Ruiz1. He didn't crack him one time on the jaw Wilder style and KO, more cuffing blows to the side of the head. Got the job done but not necessarily an awesome display of power.

Not being the inactive drug-ravaged muscle atrophied shell who turned up for the first fight helped a lot ie. the warmed up cherry-picked cadaver who'd spent the best part of three years abusing the hell out of his body with industrial amounts of coke, booze and junk food and had to shed 140lbs of blubber after ballooning up to over 400lbs. That and actually sitting down on his shots as opposed to playing tip-tap back foot slickster boxing.

Came in heavier, threw the right hand more often and with more intent , he only landed 27 in 12 rds in the first fight but landed 21 in 7 rds the 2nd fight.

He's also setting up the right hand better. Before he was just landing the right hand when the opportunity came but 2nd time he was actually moving Wilder into the right hand. Part of being a good puncher is the set up of that punch. Hitting a guy when they are prepared to take a right hand compared to when they are not can have very different results.

Fury took a front-foot approach, gained weight, focused on power-shots and sitting down on his punches in training, and hit Wilder in the right places. He also landed these big shots more often.

    He's going to hit harder.

It would be more of a surprise if Wilder wasn't hurt from a 270lbs man landing so many power shots.
